Surprisingly, the GeForce3 was first introduced at Macworld Expo Tokyo in Steve Job“s keynote, with John Carmack showing off an early version of Doom 3 on stage and endorsing the GeForce3. With a whopping 57 million transistors (more than the Pentium 4), 76 GFLOPS of processing power, a 200MHz clock speed, and 7.3GBps of memory bandwidth, the GeForce3 is 3D monster looking to gobble up games.Read more
