APH Networks: SilverStone SETA H2 Review

For the Father’s Day that just passed, I decided I would make my dad a cake. When I was little, we always got the same Black Forest cake for him for his birthday, so I assumed it was something he liked. As you may or may not know, the traditional Black Forest has multiple layers of cake with cherries and cream in between. One thing I learned in making it was how important it was to soak the cakes with a cherry syrup to ensure a soft and supple cake. As such, I brushed each layer with thickened cherry juice before topping it with whipped cream and cherries. The other thing the recipe mentioned was to let the cake sit fully assembled overnight to ensure a good cake texture. I finished the assembly of the cake in about three hours before letting it sit in the fridge. The next day, I learned to make chocolate rolls and shavings to top the cake off. Overall, it was fun to make, but even more enjoyable to eat. There were areas I could improve upon, but my favorite thing was the moist cake inside. While cakes should be good looking, the details inside need to be present to ensure the cake is equally satisfying to eat. Similarly, most computer cases nowadays are impressive from the exterior. With wraparound tempered glass and RGB LED lighting, this seems to make up majority of the enclosures we see. Today, we have the SilverStone SETA H2, which bucks this trend. With a fully steel, all-black exterior, this computer chassis does not seem to be the most eye-catching from its outer appearance. However, will the interior design make the SETA H2 a compelling option in 2025? Let us read on to find out!

ThinkComputers: Enermax ETS-TD60 Digital CPU Cooler Review

Enermax is a brand that has been around forever, but we actually haven’t taken a look at a product from them in a long time. Well we are going to start things back up with one of their latest CPU coolers, the ETS-TD60 Digital. The ETS-TD60 Digital is a dual-tower, dual-fan air cooler that features six 6mm-thick copper heatpipes and can handle thermal loads up to 280W. This is the “D” version which means digital, so we have a digital display that will show CPU temperature, GPU temperature, and fan speed. Is this CPU cooler worth picking up? Read on as we find out!

Graphics Cards:

eTeknix: Nvidia GeForce RTX 5050 8GB Graphics Card Review

Today is an odd one, as we have a card that to the general public, doesn’t exist: the RTX 5050. A card that, while it falls under the 50 series group of products, has some major differences that, on face value, suggest NVIDIA, along with many mainstream AIB partners, didn’t even want to show it. That’s why you’ll find a severe lack of content on the card, including all-important reviews. The big question, however, is why that’s the case. What’s being hidden, or are we looking at a card that is perhaps a little misunderstood and shouldn’t just be judged
