Windows 11 Build 22631.6132 (Release Preview Channel) released
Microsoft has rolled out Windows 11 Build 22631.6132 (KB5067112) to Windows Insiders enrolled in the Release Preview Channel of Windows 11 23H2. This update brings a range of enhancements and fixes to improve overall performance and stability.
One significant issue that has been addressed with this release is related to the touch keyboard. The touch keyboard sometimes fails to enter characters into text fields, especially after a device wakes from sleep. Although animations for the touch keyboard appear correctly, key presses are not registered, leading to problems such as entering incorrect passwords on the sign-in screen.
Additionally, an issue affecting external virtual switches has been resolved. When the host restarts, these virtual switches would lose their physical network interface card (NIC) bindings and convert into internal switches, resulting in a loss of network connectivity. This problem was caused by incorrect detection of orphaned virtual switch objects during the startup of the Host Network Service.
Another key feature introduced with this update is the Personalized Offers feature. This functionality is now enabled during device setup within the Out-of-Box Experience (OOBE) and can be accessed through Settings after users reach their desktop.
The update also includes a fix for an issue affecting disk communication, which caused connectivity errors to occur during upgrades of Azure Stack Hub or Azure Local clusters. By resolving this problem, Microsoft aims to enhance the reliability and performance of its storage systems.
