OCZ Technology 60GB Agility Series SATAII SSD Review
Futurelooks checks out some SSD goodness from OCZ

When recently asked what SSD would be ideal for regular users, that doesn't cost too much, but contains quality components, I found myself going back over my notes. I found myself considering what kind of controller is used inside an SSD rather than basing it off the name brand. The controller is a major component that can make or break performance. And, it doesn't hurt if an SSD has a little extra cache to maintain transfer rates.

iXBT Labs posted a review on the Gigabyte 790XTA-UD4 Motherboard

The support for the new interfaces will be attractive for those who upgrade rarely. The Socket AM3 platform is a good choice for rare upgrades, by the way, because there will be at least one more processor family for it that will include hexacore solutions.

Gigabyte 890GPA-UD3H Motherboard Review - AMD 890GX Chipset
Legit Reviews posted a review on the Gigabyte 890GPA-UD3H Motherboard

Both the Gigabyte 890GPA-UD3H and ASUS M4A89GTD Pro/USB3 AMD 890GX-based motherboards that we looked at here today are both very solid motherboards and increase the level of performance that you can expect from an AMD motherboard. The faster and improved Radeon HD 4290 integrated graphics are more than enough to power your HTPC for Blu-ray playback and can even manage to do some light gaming on lower resolution. By adding in a Radeon HD 5870 graphics card like we did you find a very solid gaming platform that has all the latest features on the market, like SuperSpeed USB 3.0 and SATA 6Gbps. Our testing showed that USB 3.0 and SATA 6Gbps over significant performance improvements and should be considered for a system that you are building and planning on hanging onto for years to come...

Gigabyte 890GPA-UD3H USB and SATA 3.0 Motherboard Review
Hi Tech Legion posted a review on the Gigabyte 890GPA-UD3H USB and SATA 3.0 Motherboard

The Gigabyte 890GPA-UD3H will showcase both the AMD 890GX Northbridge and 850 Southbridge chipsets. The Gigabyte 890 motherboard will utilize the native SATA 3.0 technology, as well as USB 3.0, which is the NEC USB 3.0 controller. It is also ATI CrossFire and Hybrid compatible with one PCI-e 2.0 X16 and one X8 slot. With its USB 3.0 controller, transfer rates of up to 5Gb/s can be achieved, making it up to 10x faster than USB 2.0. The native SATA 3 forgoes the Marvel controller (3^rd party) that we have seen on some Intel motherboards and has the potential of up to 6Gb/s transfer rates via the AMD 850 Southbridge chipset.

Gateway EC14D07u Ultraportable Laptop Review
TweakTown posted a review on the Gateway EC14D07u Ultraportable Laptop

It's always nice to have a change of pace and today I am looking at a new ultraportable notebook from Gateway. The machine looks like a netbook at first glance, but has notebook hardware crammed inside the small chassis. The small size makes the machine very portable and it feels like a netbook in the hand.

Once you fire the machine up, the performance lets you know this is no Atom-powered rig for sure. The little Gateway EC14D07u has average looks and will be a welcome machine for any business user or student that needs a small notebook to take with them on the road that offers decent performance and battery life.
