Rosewill Xtreme RX950-S-B Review
Bjorn3D.com takes a look at the Rosewill Xtreme RX950-S-B

It seems to me that every manufacturer in the industry is getting into the power supply business. We have seen memory makers, such as OCZ and Corsair, graphic card makers, such as BFG, and cases manufacture, such as NZXT and Tuniq are making power supplY. Combine these newcomers to the old and established power supply makers, such as Antec, Enermax, and Seasonics, we are having a big battle among power supplies. Even so, it does not deter other manufacturers from entering the arena and tries to fight against all odds to hopefully come out as a winner.

There is a paradox in today’s computer system. On one hand, we have updated components that consume less power then before due to the refined manufacturing process and better designs. On the other hand, we have super computers that are able to support multiple hard drives, multiple processors, and multiple graphic cards. These components together are consuming a tremendous amount of power.

Digit-Life has posted a review on four overclocked RADEON HD 3650/3850/3870 graphics cards

Like most people neither wear designer clothes nor live in villas, most users cannot afford expensive powerful graphics cards like GeForce 8800GTX or RADEON HD 3870 X2 and choose cheaper solutions instead. So, this time we are going to review three Mid-End graphics cards of the $100-$180 price range and a more expensive HD 3870. All our contenders today are based on AMD (ATI) RADEON GPUs.

We've received a bunch of Tuniq TX2, Arctic Cooling MX2. Arctic Silver is also in the pool with their award winning AS5. And we include Coollaboratory's Liquid pro and Liquid metal pads to make the circle complete.

Sigma Luna Type W Case Review
Virtual-Hideout posted Sigma Luna Type W Case Review

When it comes to cases, there is no shortage of options available to end users. While many consider a chassis to be an afterthought, for some the selection of case is as important as the choice of components that are housed within. With that in mind, it becomes difficult to decide which case to use for one's next system. Often, the selection is immediately limited to the big names - Antec, CoolerMaster, Lian-Li, etc. just to make the task a bit more bearable.

Sigma is one of the lesser-known manufacturers, but they seem to have a decent lineup of cases, all geared towards the enthusiast/gamer crowd. Today, we'll have the chance to look at the Sigma Luna Type W chassis, one of their newer entries and we'll see if it has the style and substance to compete with the bigger names out there.

Corsair 32GB Flash Voyager Review
3D Game Man posted a review on the Corsair 32GB Flash Voyager

The Corsair 32GB Flash Voyager is currently one of the largest flash drives available. Most memory companies are not even offering this as an option yet, but Corsair does. Their Flash Voyager line of flash drives has been around for a long time and that's because it's a great design. It's tough, offers lots of storage options (2-32GB) and now includes security software.

Helios H4000 Review
Techbitch takes a look at the Helios H4000 player

You're not getting true HD, but the Helios H4000HD is a reasonable player for DVD buffs who want to get the most from their HDTV without spending hundreds on a 'true HD' DVD player. The major criticism I had with the player was its build quality - the buttons on the unit itself are very noisy when clicked, DVDs frequently stuck (requiring me to force open the drive bay), and the remote control looks like an afterthought. Plus, the on-screen menu is painfully slow and subtitles keep appearing every time you pause a movie - how annoying! But, for the price it's a steal.

Patriot Memory PC3-15000 2GB Dual Channel Kit Review
Viper Lair posted a review on the Patriot Memory PC3-15000 2GB Dual Channel Kit

Our latest sticks come to us via Patriot and sport a PC2-6400 sticker on them, they also have this nifty little stamp "RoHS Compliant", while not a big deal (yet) in the US, in European countries, without it, it means you can't even sell it. The most important aspect that I can see of RoHS Compliance, is that the gear must be built without any lead whatsoever.

Foxconn 9600GT 512 MB Review
OCC has published a new review of the Foxconn 9600GT 512 MB

To overclock the Foxconn 9600GT, I used Nvidia's Ntune software. I started at the stock clock speeds and just kept increasing the core and clock speeds until I had reached a point that the graphics benchmarks would not complete or have corruption. 749 MHz is a 99MHz overclock over the stock speeds of 650MHz on the G94 core. The memory just kept scaling upwards until I reached the end of the scale. The scale ended at 1100MHz, a 190 MHz increase over the factory memory clock speeds. The Foxconn 9600GT was able to complete the entire benchmark suite at these speeds. Hoping that the overclocked settings would not fail, or more specifically, trying to make them fail, I played an hour long round of Call of Duty 4 just to be sure the settings were good. They were! At these overclocked speeds, the 9600 GT decreased the performance gap between it and the 8800GT. Pretty amazing results.

Razer Mako THX 2.1 Speaker System Review
Futurelooks checked out the Razer Mako THX 2.1 Speaker System

Razer is a company that prides itself in designing products for gamers, by gamers. We’ve already seen what Razer is capable of when it comes to
crazy computer mice and “gaming surfaces”, but what about something a little more substantial? Well, the speakers that are built into my Dell laptop are pretty anemic at best, so I approached the newly launched Razer Mako THX speakers with completely open arms. And the 2.1 system absolutely blew me away. Yes, they are that good.

iPod Shuffle 1 GB Review
Hardware Secrets posted iPod Shuffle 1 GB Review

O.k., we know that iPod shuffle isn't exactly something new – after all it was released 16 months ago. But with the release of the 2 GB model last month the price of the 1 GB dropped dramatically, being easily found for $50 at Apple, BestBuy, Circuit City and Amazon.com. In this review we will explore Apple's cheapest iPod to date. iPod shuffle isn't only the cheapest MP3 player from Apple, but also the smallest and lightest, measuring only 1.07" (2.73 cm) x 1.62" (4.12 cm) x 0.41" (1.05 cm) (H x W x D) and weighting only half ounce (15.6 grams), making it the most discreet iPod, which is a very desirable feature if you want to use it for jogging, biking or working out, if you don't want something bulky inside your pocket or if you simply just don't like the idea of flashing your iPod around whenever you want to select a song (this model don't allow you to select any specific song, as it doesn't have an LCD display), what can be dangerous for people walking on an unsafe neighborhood.

ATI Catalyst 8.3 Analysis - XP & Vista
TweakTown posted an ATI Catalyst 8.3 Analysis

The first thing we did when we obtained the latest driver release from AMD was to test out the Crossfire X capabilities with a pair of HD 3870 X2 cards. With that out the way it’s time to test the latest driver in the typical fashion.

This is a pretty good driver as far as performance increases go for Vista users. Crysis sees a very nice bump in performance and so does UT3. CINEBENCH also sees gains but the OpenGL increase isn’t carried over to our OpenGL based game Enemy Territory: Quake Wars.
