Noctua NH-U12P SE1366 Special Edition CPU Cooler Review
Verdis Reviews has published a new review on the Noctua NH-U12P SE1366 Special Edition CPU Cooler

The introduction of the latest X58 and i7 platform has meant that a whole new mounting mechanism for the LGA1366 socket has been eveloped. The influx of coolers is now extremely vast with the predominate theme of the coolers featuring aluminium fin stacks and U-shaped heat pipes. One such design that has had great success is the Noctua NH-U12P; instead of redesigning a whole new cooler for the i7 platform as some companies have chosen to do, Noctua have stuck with the tried and tested NH-U12P creating a special edition with an adjusted accessory bundle specifically for the LGA1366 socket. With high accolades and proven performance, this heatsink and fan combination should be a sure fire hit in cooling the i7 processor.

Asus ATI EAH4770 Video Card Review
Bjorn3D takes a look at the Asus ATI EAH4770 Video Card.

A GPU in the $100 price range isn't expected to pack high dollar punch, but it is nice to find one that packs a good price performance ratio. Your probably not going to run high end games at maximum settings, but you will be able to run most games at an acceptable level with a few compromises in game settings. Cards like the Asus EAH4770 are mainstream GPU's that give you the basic performance you need for productivity, and pack enough punch to let you game in the price range that won't break the bank.

StarTech 15 ft USB 2.0 Active Extension Cable Review
TestFreaks posted a review on the StarTech 15 ft USB 2.0 Active Extension Cable

Today for review I've got a simple device that allows us to essentially double the length we can go with our USB cables, it's simply called a 15 ft USB 2.0 Active Extension Cable, and it's from a company called StarTech. This is an active extension cable, though it does not require any additional power like some out there might. It's basically a very long single port USB hub, one end has the male USB interface while the other end has a small box with a female USB interface in it. The cable allows you to double the length of your USB cable simply and easily, and you can chain up to five of these cables together to really get some distance.

Thermaltake Duo Orb CPU Cooler Review
DragonSteelMods posted a review on the Thermaltake Duo Orb CPU Cooler

Today for review I've got a good looking and rather large CPU cooler, the Thermaltake Duo Orb. Having such a large cooler in your system is nice as it works well, but being so large I had to remove my 120mm exhaust fan for it to fit in my case. The temps I got though are very good, read to see how it compared to several others I've got on hand...

Lenovo and NVIDIA Announce Ion-Based IdeaPad S12 Netbook
HotHardware posted a news story on the IdeaPad S12 Netbook

Just weeks after it unveiled a refreshed version of its IdeaPad S10 netbook (understandably deemed the S10-2), the company is dropping yet another new rig on the world. Today, the IdeaPad S12 came to light, bringing with it the title of world's first netbook with NVIDIA's Ion technology. How significant will this be in the netbook world? If we had to guess today, we'd say "very."

Meet Cooler Master's all new Hyper 212 Plus
The Guru of 3D posted a review on the Cooler Master Hyper 212 plus

Cooler Master has been updating their product lineup extensively lately; everything from their elite cases like the HAF series towards all sorts of coolers.

Today another new cooler sees the light, Well new ... it's actually the Hyper 212 cooler we reviewed a long time ago that is being updated, overhauled one could say. The updated Hyper 212 is now called the Hyper 212 Plus and it will be Cooler Masters first of many LGA1156 and LGA1156/1366 compatible coolers to come. Again we spot DHT as in Direct contact heat-pipes, dual fan cooling options and new PWM fans are now included into this cooler design.

Antec Skeleton Open Air Case Review
TweakTown posted a review on the Antec Skeleton Open Air Case

Usually when I do tower cases the name Antec is soon to follow. Most of the time it is in the context of comparing airflow to what was once an industry standard bar raiser for case airflow. This time I happen to actually be reviewing one of the many products in their lineup. Antec is well known for the 900 as well as many various PSUs or even something as small as a 120mm Tri-Cool LED fan. For those of you who haven’t had the opportunity to use an Antec product, in my experience they have been all quality parts.

As much as I brag up the Antec 900, it wasn’t everything it could have been out of the box. I see many reviews and forum threads on the love hate relationship with that case, as well as the same with the review I am presenting today. I remember when this chassis first hit the news, I wanted to get my grubby little hands on one, as it seemed to me Antec listened to their users and offered a lot of options with this concept turned reality. As they say, good things come to those who wait and that’s just what I did. After a few months of waiting my goal was attained when Antec asked me to look at the Skeleton open air Chassis.

Xigmatek S983 Nepartak Review
PureOverclock posted a review of the Xigmatek S983 Nepartak CPU cooler.

We're testing the Xigmatek S983 Nepartak CPU cooler that offers Heatpipe Direct Touch (HDT) technology in a small form 92mm fan setup. We've seen the big boy Xigmatek coolers rule the roost in our extensive 1366 air cooler testing so far, so it will be interesting to see if they can continue the winning streak with a decidedly smaller product, especially on a highly overclock Core i7 monster.

GeForce GTX 275 Roundup (Gigabyte, EVGA, MSI, Sparkle, BFG)
Hardware Canucks posted GeForce GTX 275 Roundup featuring 6 cards from Gigabyte, EVGA, MSI, Sparkle and BFG.

Variety, falling prices on some cards and general enthusiast interest led us to push manufacturers to send us whatever they could scrounge up that had a GTX 275 sticker on it. They came through and today we are looking at a total of six GTX 275 cards that come from all walks of life; from overclocked to custom cooled, they are all here. We mentioned in our original GTX 275 review that with a bit of overclocking, this is one card that could give the beastly GTX 285 a run for its money. If anything, this roundup should tell us if this statement turns out to be true as we have one of the highest-clocked GTX 275 cards on the market featured here.

ASUS ROG ENGTX260 Matrix GeForce GTX 260 Video Card Review
Futurelooks has posted a review on the ASUS ROG ENGTX260 Matrix GeForce GTX 260 Video Card

We’ve seen the entire nVidia GTX video card series go through another revision as of late. The latest revisions are the GTX 275 and GTX 285 which offer improved power and performance benefits thanks to the smaller GPU. However, that doesn’t mean the original GTX series have been kicked to the curb. In fact, that usually means someone is taking the previous choice GPUs and putting them on video cards exclusively aimed at the extreme enthusiast who’s going to exploit their full hidden potential.

SilenX Ixtrema IXC-120HA2 Pro Series Heatpipe CPU Cooler Review
Tweaknews posted a review on the SilenX Ixtrema IXC-120HA2 Pro Series Heatpipe CPU Cooler

As you can guess from their name, Silenx has built their reputation around quiet PC accessories. Their IXC-120HA2 CPU cooler easily lives up to this reputation by being, well, very quiet. Even with its modest fan speeds, this cooler did an excellent job of cooling the Q6600 during testing. That is, until I added some voltage and clock cycles. When your packaging boldly states, “designed for gamers and overclockers,” you'd better bring more performance to the table that the IXC-120HA2 does..

Sapphire Radeon HD 4890 Vapor-X 1GB Video Card Review
Elite Bastards posted a review on the Sapphire Radeon HD 4890 Vapor-X 1GB video card

While we've looked at a couple of factory overclocked Radeon HD 4890 boards which sport only increases to core clock speed, Sapphire have taken different approach with this Vapor-X offering, increasing both core and memory clocks out of the box. Thus, the Radeon HD 4890 uses a core clock speed of 870MHz (just 20MHz higher than a reference board, and below the 900MHz seen on other cards), while the GGDR5 memory on the board is clocked at 1050MHz, representing a 75MHz increase over a reference board.

Things get really interesting when we check out the rear of the Radeon HD 4890 Vapor-X however, as we find ourselves looking at the most comprehensive set of connectivity I can remember seeing on a single graphics board. The four outputs on the back of the card comprise of a VGA, dual-link DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort connector to cover all of your bases, with an HDMI to DVI adapter also included in the card's bundle for dual DVI monitor support. Bad news if you're looking for standard TV-out functionality or need to run two dual-link DVI monitors (two 30" LCDs in other words), but a fantastic plethora of outputs for everyone else which has left me really rather impressed.
