Nvidia to release an AGP version of GeForce 7300GT
NgoHQ reports that Nvidia will release an AGP version of GeForce 7300GT

According to sources the GeForce 7300GT AGP will be using the HSI AGP Bridge like the 7600GS and 7800GS. However, Since Nvidia has already added support for this card in ForceWare 91.48, and there are already a few stores in Asia that are selling this card already; we can assume that the official release is very close.

Corsair and Cooler Master PSUs
Bit-Tech posted a review on Corsair and Cooler Master PSUs

The Corsair was relatively more solid, with neither 12V rail blinking when asked to pump juice to our hungry components. We were particularly impressed with the performance of the PCI-Express 12V rail which didn't so much as waiver, despite the graphics work our hot CrossFire cards were doing.

Windows Vista Release Candidate 1 Review, Part 3
Paul Thurrott published part 3 of his Windows Vista review

My original plan was to present some performance data in the third part of this review. There's just one problem: At least half of the games I intended to put through the benchmark paces wouldn't work correctly--or in one notable case, install at all--on Windows Vista RC1. After fretting over this for a bit, and then blowing away all of the games I did manage to install during a VMWare Workstation-induced system restore (which was causing blue screens), I decided to move on. For now.

I'll still try and present that data at a later point. In the meantime, I've got bigger fish to fry. More specifically, there are two issues I'd like to discuss in this part of the review. First, let's take a week-old look back at RC1 and see how it's held up under pressure and the passage of time. Second, I did something scary and thought you might be interested in hearing about it: I upgraded a perfectly serviceable (if dirty) Windows XP installation--complete with months and months of installed applications and data--to see what would happen. The results surprised me. And, interestingly, they have some bearing on that first issue I just mentioned as well. And you thought they were completely unrelated.

Revoltec Procyon Multifunction Panel Review
Hardware-Review checked out the Revoltec Procyon Multifunction Panel

Multifunction panels have added loads of extra functionality to otherwise lack-luster PC cases for several years now. I’ve seen panels with fan buses, USB and Firewire ports, and card readers. One product that falls into this category is the Revoltec Procyon Multifunction Panel. This device fits snugly into an empty 5.25” optical drive bay and sports two USB 2.0 ports, one Firewire port, and a 7-in-1 card reader. The panel also comes with three interchangeable face plates to match almost any PC enthusiast’s paint scheme.

Canon PowerShot S3 IS Digital Camera Review
The TechZone has posted a review of the Canon PowerShot S3.

The PowerShot S3 IS digital camera's 12x zoom lens has an equivalent film focal length of 36-432 mm (f/2.7 at wide angle and f/3.5 at telephoto). Despite the extraordinary range of the zoom lens, it retracts securely into the camera when it is powered down. The optical zoom can be augmented by the camera's 4x digital zoom raising the maximum (35mm equivalent) focal length to that of a 1728mm lens. What's more, this UD lens features a high-speed silent zoom function powered by a micro motor USM drive, increasing ease of quiet, non-intrusive image capture. For extreme close-ups, the camera's macro and super macro mode permit shooting a subject as close as zero inches from the end of the lens barrel.

Techgage posted a review on the Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB

Though there are larger drives available, they do not fit into everyones budget. Simply going from 500GB to 320GB cuts the price in half, which makes this almost a steal. We will compare with one of our recently reviewed 500GB drives and see how it stacks up.

What To Look For In A Gaming LCD Monitor
Laptop Gamers has posted a new article: What To Look For In A Gaming LCD Monitor

You have probably heard it before, but it bears repeating...the best way to know if a computer monitor is right for you is to view it in person. Specs are a great tool for narrowing down your choices, but they are no replacement for hands-on experience. Plenty of large resellers stock a wide range of monitors and some are on display. Go down to every shop you can and see if you can find the monitor you are thinking of buying. You never know, that slightly low spec one you shunned in favour of that extra inch of screen may beat everything else hands down in 'real world' performance. This is a check list of things to consider when shopping for a new LCD for gaming.

Vizo Paragon 2.5" External Hard Drive Enclosure Review
XYZ Computing has posted a review on the Vizo Paragon 2.5" External Hard Drive Enclosure

In this review we will be looking at Vizo's Paragon 2.5" One Touch Backup HDD External Enclosure. This product uses a notebook hard drive in order to store a lot of data in an extremely small package. While 2.5" drives are expensive, they are extremely light and small enough to fit in a pocket or briefcase. While you have to pay a lot for this portability and the capacity is currently limited to 160GB this is the perfect accessory for storage on-the-go. The Paragon not only acts a portable hard drive, but can perform one touch backups, data synchronization, and data restoration.

Not only is the Mini-Kart the world’s smallest flash drive, but it’s also competitively priced, which makes it a wonderful resource for those of you who are looking to quickly transfer files back-and-forth without really a need for security options or other features that tend to drive up the retail price.

Puppy Linux 2.02 Review
MadPenguin.org posted a review on Puppy Linux 2.02

Lately, it feels like the world is being overrun with otherwise outdated PCs. With landfills overflowing with unwanted computers, it's great to find that Linux developers have taken it upon themselves to offer a viable solution to simply throwing away older computers. In today’s review, we’ll look closely at Puppy Linux and how well it does from a compatibility point-of-view. Since a number of other reviews have already explained how well Puppy Linux can do with outdated hardware, we figured it might prove valuable to see how well Puppy Linux functions on newer hardware with the needs of today's notebook user.

Tweaknews.net posted a review on the Apack Zerotherm CF800 Intel Core 2 Duo Socket 775 Cooler

The ZEROtherm CF800 did a great job of taming a very hot processor while keeping noise to an absolute minimum. I like it. A lot. If Intel shipped one of these with their retail CPUs, just imagine how much customers would appreciate it. This cooler does what the Intel OEM cooler is supposed to do, but doesn't.

Vantec NexStar 3: USB & Firewire external enclosure Review
OCModShop posted a review on the Vantec NexStar 3: USB & Firewire external enclosure

By just looking at the boxart you know instantly what your dealing with, so the box shows us this version has a USB 2.0 and(!) a firewire connection and additional information is on the back.

Now as showed on the box is that you can get anything up to 480Mbps on USB2.0 and looking in the manual we can get up to 400Mbps for firewire, so it's a bit slower, but we'll see how much in the benchmarking.
