PowerColor Radeon X1950 Pro 256MB Review
Bit-Tech have a look at PowerColor's Radeon X1950 Pro, which comes fitted with an Arctic Cooling Accelero X2 cooler.

Generally speaking, there were small gameplay advantages delivered by PowerColor's card as a result of the slightly higher default clock speeds. We also really like the fact that PowerColor has moved away from the norm and included an Arctic Cooling Accelero X2 as the standard cooling solution, but one has to wonder whether it's worth the additional £20 that the card will cost you over Sapphire's Radeon X1950 Pro. That will come down to whether you are planning to overclock or not.

abit Fatal1ty AN9 32X Motherboard Review
PC Modding Malaysia posted a review on the abit Fatal1ty AN9 32X Motherboard

Overall, the Fatal1ty AN9 32X is a pretty decent socket AM2 motherboard. Based on the successful NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI chipset, abit has done a good job with the Fatal1ty AN9 32X. With its red coloured PCB and underbody red LEDs, this motherboard is probably the coolest looking socket AM2 motherboards in the market, provided if red is your favourite colour. The QTES GT heatpipe cooling also worked flawlessly but it would have been better to have the SB heatsink heatpiped as well. We also had almost no issues with the board layout but we hate the fact that the space between the secondary PCI-E slot and PCI slot was too tight. This will be bad news for those who plan to run SLI and pair up a decent soundcard on this motherboard.

Razer Tarantula Gaming Keyboard Review
XYZ Computing has a new article out on the Razer Tarantula Gaming Keyboard

The Tarantula is what Razer calls the "first definitive keyboard created by gamers for gamers". Though is not close to being the first keyboard designed for gaming, it will be interesting to see what Razer was able to
do in order to optimize their keyboard for competition. Based on their experience with mice, the Tarantula is definitely something to keep an eye on if you don't think a standard keyboard offers all the gaming features you would like. Right now there is considerable competition in the input device market, especially by companies looking to get as much money as they can out of demanding consumers. No one is more demanding of their equipment than gamers, but just piling on extra features is not enough to make a successful product. It will be interesting to see how well Razer was able to balance ease of use with innovation.

SilverStone 400W ST40EF Review
Techgage posted a review on the SilverStone 400W ST40EF

With power supplies pushing the stratosphere of over 1000 watts we lose sight of the needs of the basic user. If your system isn't bleeding edge with terabytes of storage, SLI or Crossfire and a pair of power hungry processors you really don't need tons of juice. If you're like the majority of users out there with a couple of hard drives, a burner or two, a single video card and a dual-core processor you just need a simple, reliable power supply.

Sapphire Radeon X1950 Pro PCIe Video Card Review
PC Apex have a new review up on a nice budget-friendly card from Sapphire.

Images from both cards are exactly what you would expect from any modern relatively high-end card. They are exceptional. Both, however, howed some strengths and weaknesses. Without filtering the Nvidia card had more of a tendency for pixel shimmering than the ATI card. Pixel shimmer is the ugly sparkling that happens where a moving dark object meets a lighter one. It is usually very apparent in vegetation such as leaves on a tree blowing in the wind. At the point where they meet the sky the image shimmers unnaturally at the edges. Even with Bilinear or Trilinear filtering some pixel shimmer is apparent with both cards. But if you intend to run at 1280x1024 or 1024x768, you can still manage very good frame rates with the X1950 Pro with a good deal of both anisotropic and anti alias filtering.

Foxconn 975X7AB-8EKRS2H Review
Ninjalane has just posted their review of the updated Foxconn 975X7AB motherboard.

The layout of this motherboard is very well designed with quite a bit of detail given to making room for two monster video cards. Of course if you don't have two monster video cards you'll get to use the abundance of expansion slots otherwise you'll likely be down to a single 1x PCI Express slot and one regular PCI.

HWZone posted a review on the Medusa ProGamer Surround Headset

The product we're reviewing is Speed-Link's new surround sound headest, the Medusa ProGamer. After we looked at the original Medusa headset we were genuinely impressed , so receiving a new surround headset from the german manufacturer was something we were really looking forward to, since the ProGamer offers significant improvements over the previous model, in all parameters.

As a 5.1 surround headset, and as its name suggest, the ProGamer headset is aimed first and foremost at the gamers' audience. But the question is whether this is truly a must-have product for any gamer, a failed product that nobody will use or a luxurious headset that only the most hardcore gamers would purchase. Also, the main issue in this review is whether the ProGamer headset is indeed better than the original Medusa headset - which was excellent by itself - or is it just another attempt to mimick the Medusa's success?

Sapphire Radeon X1650 PRO Video Card Review
HardOCP posted a review on the Sapphire Radeon X1650 PRO Video Card

It is not often that the MSRP of a product is lower than it's retail or street price, but that is the case with the Sapphire's RADEON X1650 PRO. It does not have the performance to justify a $129.99 price tag, when a GeForce 7600 can so dramatically outstrip it for nearly the same price. If and when its price comes down to a realistic range, it will be a good video card at a good price. Right now, though, it is merely a mediocre video card at a high price.
