I have VIA motherboard with an Intel 845 Chipset running Celeron 2.13Ghz processor and 128MB RAM. I have a Transcend JetFlash USB Flash disk.

Whenever I plug it in, it gets detected fine. But whenever I try copying files from it, it seems to freeze. The LED on the drive flashes continuously (like it does during some read/write operation) and the file dosen't get copied. The omly way to stop it is by disconnecting the disk.

However, the drive works perfectly on every other computer I have tested it on. (I have tested it on a lot of computers in college running a range of Operating Systems. The machines I tested on heave either 845 or 915 motherboards)

What could be the problem?

I would guess that when it freezes it is because your out of page file space and windows is trying to enlarge the page file.

128mb RAM is bairly enough to run the operating system alone.
