All,
Well, the answer 3DFX gave me was that they are concentrating on single processor right now and maybe in the future they will support SMP. This kind of bummed me out so now I am considering getting a geforce 256 DDR board. I've read that some have had success with SMP with the board, do the new drivers seem to work also?
Thanks

near as I can tell from a couple of previous posts to this board, and the driver info I could get from the Nvidia site, yes they do support SMP.

thresh's (www.firingsquad.com) site did a piece on SMP a little while back, and as i recall they did all their testing with a geoforce card.
I too was considering a geoforce, but the possible offerings from 3dfx/stb are keeping me from dropping the cash now.
there is nothing more painful than trying to decide when the right time to upgrade is...
