Windows Explorer - Default Settings

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know how to make Windows Explorer (the file manager) open to a specific location without expanding the folder tree? By default it opens to My Documents and the tree is expanded.

I have tried changing the "Start In" location of the shortcut, but did this not have an effect

Thanks for any infomation

Sorry I don't have the answer to that question... but on a related note... anyone know how to prevent explorer from spawning a new window after mapping a drive?
