I have an OEM version of the Aureal Vortex1 Soundcard. Reference NT4.0 drivers didnt work (downloaded from www.a3d.com). W2000 installed the default drivers for the card, it was recognized and seemed to be using the correct resources as compared with the drivers for win98se. No sound can be heared at all, save for the CD Audio, but then computer is needed for more than just CD Audio.
