I have installed Windows 2000 on the Presario 17XL362 and have found Win2k drivers for everything but the FutureBay and the integrated volume buttons at the top of the keyboard. The FutureBay driver is not required, if you can live with swapping the DVD and floppy when the notebook is powered off. Go to Compaq's support web site http://www5.compaq.com/support/files/allsp.html or ftp site and download the following softpaqs: ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/softpaq/sp15501-16000/sp15948.exe - ATI Rage Mobility M1 Video driver. ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/softpaq/sp15501-16000/sp15534.exe - Intel SpeedStep driver. ftp://ftp.esstech.com/pub/audio/pci/allegro-1/win2k/1062.zip - ESS Allegro 1988/1989 WDM Audio chip driver. Choose update driver and specify the location where this has been unzipped. ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/softpaq/sp16001-16500/SP16032.exe - Onboard HSF Modem driver.
