I purchased a new Dazzle DVC II because it stated that it was Windows 2000 compatible. I immediately got an error message that stated, "This version of MovieStar will not work on Windows NT!"

Received the follow messages: 1) I purchased a new Dazzle DVC II because it stated that it was Windows 2000 compatible. I immediately got an error message that stated, "This version of MovieStar will not work on Windows NT!" 2) Device can "work" with Win2k although unstable, moviestar software has plently of crashes, audiosynch problems, can only use DVC II with moviestar. Moviestar 4.2 is out (only through mailed CD) http://dazzle.bcastvideo.com/guests?hidden=%2F. Driver support very bad, blu screens ect, avoid if doing serious work with this device. Fav quote Look at the card, In the upper right hand corner, there should be like a chip on the board labeled U3. It's like a removable chip. Push the chip in further. Once you have done that, check to see if the that did anything. One of our techs had an problem similar to yours and he just pressed the chip back in and it worked fine after that. 3) See previous post-mine installed just fine by finding the drivers on the disk. The directory structure is screwed up on the install CD and you have to find them.

We are having problems in terms of Recordeing/Encoding and Decoding using the Dazzle DVC II. All we do is just reboot the PC and try again. This happens to all of our PC's and not just on one.
