TESTED ON: Windows 2000 with Service Pack 4
1) Run SETUP.EXE on the F/A-18 CD-ROM using APCOMPAT.EXE in Windows 98 mode. Don't check anything else.

2) Run a FULL installation. You'll get some DLL error at the end of the installation. Ignore the error and finish the installtion.
3) Update F/A-18 to version 1.01F

4) Replace F-18.exe on the installation folder with this one.

5) F/A-18 should run without problems from here on. You don't need APCOMPAT.exe to run the game.
