At this time, we do not have a driver for Windows XP. You may, however, want to try using the following process which installs the Windows 2000 driver for the PPM200 Printer into Windows XP. If this does not work, please let us know. This is a detailed process and needs to be followed as closely as possible. 1. Download the Windows 2000 printer (PPM200W2K.exe) driver from: http://www.lexmark.com/support/kodak/drivers.html. 2. Double click PPM200W2K.exe to begin the driver installation. 3. Click "OK" to continue to unzip the printer installation files. 4. Click "Unzip" to proceed. 5. Click "OK" when the files are finished decompressing. 6. After clicking "OK" the software will automatically launch. Please read the terms and conditions section and then click "Yes." 7. The installation software will detect that the printer is connected via USB. Click "Next" to continue. 8. Click "Next" to proceed. 9. Click "Next" one more time. 10. A windows may appear stating there is an error communicating with the printer, if so click "Cancel." 11. Click "OK" to the "Choose Cartridges" window. 12. Click "Cancel" to "Aligning the Printer Cartridges." 13. Click "Finish" to end the driver installation. 14. Restart the Computer. 15. Upon restarting the computer the "Found New Hardware Wizard" appears. Choose "Install from a list or specific location (advanced)" and click "Next." 16. Check "Include the location in the search" and browse to: C:WINDOWSSystem32spoolDriversW32x86 and click "Next." 17. A window will appear stating that the drivers are not Windows XP Logo Compliant. Click "Continue Anyway." 18. Click "Finish." Verify that "USB Printer Support" appears under "Universal Serial Bus Controllers" in the Device Manager. 19. Click "Start" > "All Programs" > "Kodak PPM200" > "Kodak PPM200 Control Program." 20. Choose the "Cartridge" tab and click "Print Test Page." 21. A Windows XP printer test page should print: Congratulations! If you can read this information, you have correctly installed your Kodak PPM200 on the Windows XP Operating System. If you should have any other questions, please be sure to revisit our site as we are continually adding information to enhance our support. You can also phone your regional call center in the US at (800) 235-6325. Our representatives are available to speak with you Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern Time.
