Received the follow messages: 1) Works fine 2) bad: lots of video banding on almost all high resolutions under win2k pro sp1 geforce 2 gts..guess we wait for a patch from Monolith to fix 3) won't run at all under win2k pro sp1 gf2gts, even with the new patch..tried 2 clean installs of win2k sp1 but game still will not run...just hangs the sytem, needing a hard reboot 4) Installs, loads and plays fine! Probably the best single-player game since Half-Life!! Game is patched. Athlon, Voodoo3, Win2K SP1 5) previous problems with nolf (problems 1 and 2) fixed by installing sp2...runs great now

Will not launch at all. All I get is NOLF.exe running in the background, but no game launches at all! Its a pitty because NOLF2 runs like a charm!

16-bit installer on this one, so it won't install and run at all on Windows XP x64.

The game itself is fully 32-bit and it will work just fine on 64 bit once you get it installed, which fortunately is very easy:

1. Copy the "Game" directory from your CD1 onto your hard drive. Rename it something life "NOLF" or whatever you want.
2. Copy NOLF.REZ from the "Data" directory into the same directory.
3. Insert CD2 and copy both .REZ files from the Data directory into that same directory.
4. Move or copy NOLF.EXE and Lithtech.exe from the "English" (or whatever language version you want)subdirectory into your game directory.
5. Insert CD1 and run NOLF.EXE to play.
