If that wasn't enough, the exported registry file, let's call it sbmd.reg, has to be imported into [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Jinx Inc\Space Bunnies Must Die] for it to work. Notice that Wow6432Node was added. The easiest way I found to do this was to open a run box and use the command:
%SystemRoot%\SysWOW64\regedit.exe
Then drag and drop sbmd.reg into the "Registry Editor" window.
The game ran near perfectly in "Windows 98" compatibility mode with only an occasional crash.
