Dream Machines DM3 Mini Gaming Mouse Review

Dream Machines is a Polish company that has been around for a couple of years now, starting off producing gaming laptops and expanding into other territories like speakers and gaming mice. The team at Dream Machines has a real focus on PC gaming and I am always one to welcome a new company to the mix, as competition and innovation is what keeps covering the PC scene so fun and exciting. Dream Machines has recently begun expanding into other territories and wants to make their presence felt here in the USA. While many gaming mice feature over the top designs with multiple buttons, the DM3 Mini is a minimalist mouse, featuring just two main buttons on a smaller, traditional ambidextrous shaped frame. Kingston DCP1000 1,6TB review: lightning-fast SSD reaches 7 GB/s

Earlier this year, Kingston introduced a PCI-Express 3.0 x8 SSD with very impressive specifications such as a maximum read speed of nearly 7GB per second (!) and a write speed of 6GB per second. That piece of machinery costs a whopping 1700 euro and it is, on paper, the fastest SSD we have ever tested. Let’s see how it does in reality.

Microsoft Surface Laptop Review: Plush, Premium Design In A Competitive Category

When Microsoft released the original Surface Pro five years ago, the mobile market was completely different – Windows tablets were an afterthought and weren’t the svelte and snappy performers you can buy today. The first-generation Surface Pro wasn’t perfect, but it was a huge step in the right direction for Windows 2-in-1’s and tablets. Today’s mobile computing device landscape is completely different versus five years ago and one could argue it was significantly re-shaped by the success of the Surface Pro.

Each notebook manufacturer has its own interpretation of mobile nirvana. Whether it’s the HP Envy, Dell XPS, Lenovo Yoga or ASUS Zenbook, there are plenty of excellent ultra-portable notebooks you can buy today. But that didn’t deter Microsoft from entering the fray, when it added a traditional-style Surface Laptop to its product line-up last May...

What wireless NIC is best in todays market?

I've been pondering an article like this for a while but the logistics of getting everything in-house and testing never really came together. After completing my last round of articles, I suddenly realized I had all of the wireless NICs in-house that come in modern motherboards and laptops, apart from the Killer 1535, which easily enough was sent over to be included after emailing Rivet Networks. Like you, I too am a member of a few tech forums, some I frequent more than others but alas many have a thread titled "best Wi-Fi for laptop" or "upgrade laptop Wi-Fi." It's no secret, not all Wi-Fi NICs are created equal - some notebook and motherboard vendors choose to take a cheaper route with 1x1 solutions while you will find the majority using 2x2 solutions from Qualcomm or Intel. Since breaking away from Qualcomm, Rivet Networks has reinvented the Killer brand to be more than a marketing slogan on a box, pushing their Prioritization engine into routers with the WRT32x.
