T-Break reports that ASUS and Gigabyte are merging
Yesterday we reported on a rumor about possible merge between ASUS and Gigabyte. Now, we can confirm that deal is actually done and it will be officially announced today. Our sources have confirmed this and we can expect more information's later on.
We don't have all details yet, but we know that ASUS and Gigabyte will join to form a new company while keeping own brands and production, at least in near future. With this deal done, they'll form world's largest motherboard vendor with about 45% of whole market.
