ASRock announces BIOS support for AMD Desktop Ryzen 2000 series

AMD Ryzen 2000 ASRock is ready for Ryzen 2000. The company has provided BIOS updates for almost full AM4 motherboard lineup. The latest BIOSes support new AGESA code for upcoming Zen+ processors. Those who decide to purchase Ryzen 2000 CPU and any of already existing ASRock's Ryzen motherboards will need to go through a more complicated process, which requires not one BIOS update, but two. Only X370 Taichi and Fatal1ty X370 Professional Gaming have not received Ryzen 2000-supporting BIOSes yet. Those are scheduled for February 9th. After that date, all ASRock's AM4 motherboards will support Ryzen 2000.

Asus ZenFone 4 Review

Great camera on a mid-range phone. Cracking the smartphone market is no easy task. Samsung, Huawei and Apple dominate the arena, selling well over 40 per cent of all smartphones, and the premium end is even more skewed towards the big trio.

That line now extends to the ZenFone 4. Not to be confused with the cheaper Max version, ZenFone 4 (ZE554K), available in black and white, costs £450. A considerable outlay, so let's see exactly what the Taiwanese giant has cooked up.

Corsair AIO Liquid Cooler Round-Up: Ryzen Overclocking Explored

We have been experimenting with AMD’s Ryzen 5 processors here at HotHardware and while they have already proven to be a great value, we wanted to explore some different mainstream cooling options to see what kind of additional goodness we could extract from the processors. This makes all-in-one liquid coolers very appealing for mid-range gaming setups where maximizing performance per dollar is often the goal. Fortunately for us, Corsair answered the call...

SilverStone ECM22 M.2 to PCIe Expansion Card Review

Let’s face it SSDs have become the defacto storage platform for almost every type of computer. Gaming PCs have them to load games and maps quicker, workstations have them for fast load times and memory caching and servers are using them cause, well, speed is a good thing. The challenge comes when you realize to get the fastest SSDs you need to use NVMe M.2 drives and don’t have the appropriate slot on your motherboard.

In this review I’ll be looking at two companion products from SilverStone. The ECM22 M.2 to PCIe Expansion card and the TP01-M2 SSD thermal pad. You buy these separately and work quite well together.
