TrickleStar PC TrickleSaver Review
DragonSteelMods takes a look at the TrickleStar PC TrickleSaver

Today for review I've got the PC TrickleSaver from TrickleStar and it's a product that hooks up to your PC and then to your peripherals like a printer and monitor that automatically turns them off when you power off the PC. It works by connecting via USB to your PC and then sensing when you turn your computer off, then it disconnects power to the peripherals attached to it. It's an easy way to kill the electricity vampires that you've got connected to your PC and save you a bit of money in the long run. It's nice because there is no user interaction required except for the initial installation of it, and that's easy to do. So read on to learn about a great little product that can actually save you some money..

XFX 850W Black Edition PSU Review
JonnyGURU.com posted XFX 850W Black Edition PSU Review

For quite some time now, the power supply market has been nearly dominated by just one name - Corsair. Forum recommendations have gotten to the point where people are sick and tired of hearing that one name recommended over and over, but let's be honest - Corsair has worked hard to get where they are and they deserve their success.

But that doesn't mean that some upstart can't come along and snatch some market share from the current darlings of the power supply world. XFX wants to be that upstart. And to prove it, they've given me their very first unit to look at, the alien looking 850W Black Edition. Should Corsair and the rest of the power supply world be worried? Let's find out.

ATI vs. NVIDIA: CyberLink MediaShow Espresso
InsideHW.com has compared performances of ATI and NVIDIA graphics cards in CyberLink MediaShow Espresso transcoding application

New graphics cards from ATI and NVIDIA can support hardware acceleration of various video manipulation processes so time needed for some of those tasks can shorten, especially when it comes to video transcoding. Until recently for such task you needed separate application written specially for each GPU. Now, there is one application that can use both GPUs and do exactly the same job: CyberLink MediaShow Espresso. CyberLink promises ten times faster transcoding by using GPU processing power along with ability to transcode few files at once…

Genius MousePen i608 Tablet Review
Maximum CPU has posted its review of the Genius MousePen i608 tablet

Having owned and used Wacom tablets for years, Im wary to try the competition. Wacom is the big name in tablet technologies, and owns patents on their various technologies to make pen-tracking and pressure-sensitivity reporting possible. Competition has been notoriously scarce, and of reliably poor quality.

Sapphire Radeon HD 4890 2GB Vapor-X Video Card Review
Hardware Canucks posted a review of the new Sapphire Radeon HD 4890 2GB Vapor-X video card.

Ever since it's release, ATI's HD 4890 has been going strong and companies have been quick to add their own custom flavors to the pot. In this review, we take a look at Sapphire's custom HD 4890 that packs a whooping 2GB of GDDR5 and their proprietary Vapor-X cooler along with a hefty price premium over a reference card.

GMC R-4 Bulldozer Review
OCC has published a review on the GMC R-4 Bulldozer

This case is not for any one who considers themselves to be of the enthusiast level. I'd like to recommend this case to budget users, but cheaper and better cases can also be found. The lack of HDD and ODD bays will stop many mid-range users from purchasing this case. This puts the Bulldozer in a relatively awkward position. In the end, I'm not really sure if I can recommend it to anyone. If you're throwing together a secondary computer out of spare parts and want an inexpensive case that looks cool, then you might want to consider the Bulldozer.
