A new rumor claims that HP is currently working to develop Windows 8-based tablets, two of which will have a x86-Intel chip inside and the other with an ARM-Qualcomm processor.

From Neowin:
HP CEO Meg Whitman has already confirmed this week that it expects to sell x86-based PCs with Windows 8 by the end of 2012. She also said that HP is working to develop a business-themed Windows 8 tablet device. Now a new story claims to have more information about HP's Windows 8 tablet plans.

News.com, reporting via unnamed souces, claims that HP is in fact working on three separate Windows 8 tablet designs. Two of them are using Intel's low powered Atom processor while the third is an ARM-based device with a processor made by Qualcomm.
