EKWB EK-XLC Predator 240 Pre-filled CPU Xpandable Liquid Cooler Review

If i was to go out and visit any computer related store around where i live and i was to ask which types of CPU coolers they have available in their inventory right now chances are they will only have regular CPU air coolers and some AIO liquid CPU coolers. Unfortunately even now custom water cooling kits and parts are still considered niche hardware components in many places and that goes double for other types of cooling like waterchillers. Of course AIO liquid CPU coolers are reasonably priced, are easy to mount and offer very good cooling efficiency levels which in some cases can even compete with those produced by custom water cooling kits. Unfortunately however they don't support expandability and that has always been a serious drawback for enthusiasts, overclockers and even serious gamers. We did predict that eventually we'd see "hybrid" models designed after both AIO liquid CPU coolers and custom water cooling kits and shortly after Alphacool made their debut with the Eisberg line EK WaterBlocks just released their very own EK-XLC Predator line.

I don't change the DPI scaling on devices I work with normally but if you do, you may have noticed that the feature is somehow making fonts blurry in some parts of the Windows 10 operating system.

Gigabyte Z170X UD5 Motherboard Review

Skylake is arguably one of the most anticipated processors of the year and not for the obvious reasons. As many hardware sites have shown the new LGA1151 processor isn’t much faster than Haswell and requires that you upgrade your entire system due to the DDR4 memory requirement and new CPU package. No, the processor is anticipated because of the Z170 chipset and the features it brings to the table. Alternatively you can also consider how US based hardware enthusiasts were anxiously awaiting for Core i7 6700K processors that, somehow, were in short supply in North America.

In this review we will be looking at the Gigabyte Z170X UD5 motherboard built on the new LGA 1151 Skylake processor. Those of you familiar with the Gigabyte Ultra Durable series will recognize the UD5 as being a mid-range mainstream product designed to fill the gap between specialized boards like the G1 and SOC and the lower in products designed for OEMs and business professionals.

How to Run Windows 1.0.1 in Your Browser

Through emulation, all things are possible, such as running Android on Windows or playing retro video games. This emulator is no different. Its easy, and a lot of fun. Its crazy to think that Windows 1.0.1 dropped on the world in 1985. I was three years old, so I cant say I ever used it, but that doesnt mean I dont have an interest in all things retro tech and a desire to take a walk down memory lane.

Razer Firefly Light-up Mouse Mat Review

Serious Windows PC gamers likely own gaming mice and gaming keyboards (such as the Corsair STRAFE), all in the name of enhancing their gaming experience and getting more frags. Seriously, PC guys love their frags. One gaming peripheral that often goes neglected, though, is the actual mouse pad/mat. I mean, your mouse technically works on a cheap mouse pad or maybe even a bare desk, right? Gaming mouse surfaces do affect mouse performance, though. San Diego-based accessory giant Razer offers some gaming mouse mats for different budgets and needs. One of their two top mats is the Razer Firefly Hard Gaming Mouse Mat. The Firefly boasts Chroma lighting, a generous 14 x 10-inch size, and a hard surface made especially for gaming – all for sixty bucks. Read our full review with video to find out just what a difference this pricey mouse mat makes!
