AMD Athlon X4 880K Processor Review & Overclocking to 4.5 GHz

When purchasing a low cost processor, you need to know what your main use of it will be. Depending on your needs, a low cost processor might not be the best choice; especially if you are wanting to do heavy duty tasks such as video encoding. Of course, if you're on a budget, a lower cost processor might be exactly what you are after, as long as you are aware of the limitations, you can make an informed choice. For around $96 with free shipping, you can begin to build a budget minded quad-core system with the AMD Athlon X4 880K processor. Read on to see how it performs and overclocks!

BarrelCool Rifle Chamber Fan Review

Heat does many things to metal, and none of them are good when it comes to gun barrels. Throat erosion will ultimately cause degradation of accuracy after thousand(s) of rounds are fired, but depending on how fast they’re fired heat can change your point of impact in just a few minutes. Whether you’re a sportsman, competitor, or recreational shooter, everybody wants to extend the life of their rifle and maintain the highest level of accuracy. BarrelCool, the battery-powered chamber fan tested in this article for Benchmark Reviews, was designed to cut barrel cooling time in half and promote safety.

Cyberpower Infinity X55 VX System Review

Given the psychological effect of being priced under £1000, Cyberpower hopes their Infinity X55 VX will prove an enticing deal as we head towards Christmas. Packing a Core i5 and GTX 1060 6GB, it has the makings of a decent gaming PC. However, before coming to any conclusions we run the Infinity X55 VX through our intensive benchmarking suite, including some of the most demanding games you can play.

Drobo 5C Review

The 5C is a well priced 5 bay DAS from the US American manufacturer Drobo. On the inside there is a quad core SoC making sure there is enough processing power and apart from that there is a USB C interface for quick transfers. Drobo is keen on making their DAS as easy to use as possible. One key feature is the possibility to add disk drives of different sizes to an array.

Realforce RGB

Over the past few years the market for mechanical keyboards with RGB backlighting has gone crazy. The problem though is all of those RGB keyboards have had Cherry switches, knock off cherry switches, or a few custom switches designed by companies like Logitech and SteelSeries. One of my favorite mechanical switch types is Topre, but with the exception of a few knockoffs you haven’t been able to get Topre keyboards with any backlighting, let alone full RGB backlighting. So when Realforce introduced their upcoming keyboard, the Realforce RGB I had to check it out. Of all of the keyboards I have my Realforce 87u is one of my favorites to type on, but the lack of backlighting or even easy to read legends in the light forced me to keep it put up. So it will be exciting to see how Realforce’s new keyboard performs to see how it compares.

Roccat Skeltr Keyboard Review

The main idea behind Roccat's latest keyboard, the Skeltr is “integration”; to create a streamlined communication hub between the user’s smart devices and the PC in front of them. Unlike other peripheral companies, Roccat puts in a lot of effort in their software solution.  Whereas most of their competitors think of software as an afterthought, Roccat uses software as an … Read more.

SilverStone Ensemble Series EB03 and EB01-E Audio Amp DAC Review

Just about every computer system comes with some sort of audio connection. That audio connection is often considered a selling point for the device and depending on your speaker and headphone setup it could be a good match or just something to play sounds. If you find your audio solution lacking or are missing the type of connectivity you need there are a few solutions. If your system supports it you can install a dedicated sound card or you can go external using USB..

In this review I’ll be looking at two audio units from SilverStone the Ensemble EB01-E DAC and the Ensemble EB03 Headphone Amplifier. We all know SilverStone for their high quality computer cases however, that is only a part of their entire product line. In fact, they offer a wide variety of accessories to fit every need and niche you can imagine. Some may seem strange but, if you have the desire for a USB 3.0 expansion card or fully aluminum articulating monitor mount they have you covered.
