Adata XPG GAMMIX S10 512GB PCIe M.2 SSD Review

Solid state drives have been with us for many years and today, every PC has room more for SSD. With having top consideration in storage department, the SSD features improved transferred rate and faster boot time. As the time passed, the SSD has been grown and improved to its highest maturity level. SSD replicate and peaked out at 600 MB/s which fulfills the most of your needs. Now, question pops, would that 600 MB/s be any less in gaming? No, definitely not. However, upgrading in technology was imminent which brought 1300 Mb/s to 2400 Mb/s via NVMe development. NVMe based SSDs have been in the market for few years and now, with the induction of XPG Gammix S10, the competition even become stronger.

CORSAIR ST100 Premium Headset Stand with 7.1 Surround Sound Review

CORSAIR has created the ST100 not only for their VOID series of headsets, but works with any other models from different manufacturers. This is possible thanks to the dual USB 3.1 ports which can be used for charging your wireless headset, connecting the dongle, using other peripherals with it such as storage devices, smartphones and more! The analog jack output is possible thanks to the integrated sound card and its software allows 7.1 Surround Headphone mode, but also a customizable 10-band EQ.

Corsair's ML120 Pro RGB fans reviewed

For as much as I've written about case and cooling performance in my time, the fans included with most of the cases and radiators that find their way into the TR labs have been good enough that I've never felt any urge to consider premium aftermarket spinners. That's become especially true as silicon process sizes have shrunk and chips have usually consumed less and less power to deliver a given level of performance. The slow-moving 120-mm and 140-mm fans in many modern cases move enough air quietly that only those with special needs really need to consider tearing out the included spinners from those enclosures.

Earlier this year, however, I was shaken out of my broad-spectrum stock-fan reverie by one of Corsair's ML120 fans. In a change of pace from the usual sleeve, rifle, and fluid-dynamic bearings, the ML series of fans uses magnetic-levitation bearings to minimize friction and noise from that component.

Crucial BX300 240GB And 480GB SSD Review – Budget SSD Made Faster

A couple of months ago, Crucial released their latest budget friendly Solid State Drive (SSD) – the Crucial BX300 SSD series. The new BX300 is basically the successor of their previous BX200 series, and it’s (more or less) like the budget friendly version of their MX300 lineup. Today we are going to look at and review the Crucial BX300 240GB and 480GB SSD capacities. The company released three capacities; 120GB, 240GB and 480GB. Unfortunately, the BX300 series is limited up to 480GB capacity as of today. However, I think the main selling point of these new SSD series is their value; offering great performance at a lower cost. If you are in the market looking for an affordable SSD solution; or you simply want to upgrade from a slow (and old) hard disk drive to a faster solid state drive for your OS drive without spending much, please continue reading our Crucial BX300 SSD review below.

GAMDIAS Hermes E1 Gaming Combo Review

Gamdias is a company we became aware of not all that long ago, but we do know in that time that Gamdias does seem to have their finger on the pulse of the gaming and eSports community. The reason we say this is because every product we have seen to date is feature rich, and it is intended for gaming usage. With the software that comes along with most of their products, customization beyond that of many other peripherals is where Gamdias stands out with only maybe two or three other companies with similar capabilities. Since getting acquainted with Gamdias, we have seen only individual peripherals. By that statement, we mean that for each review previous to this one, we were sent a standalone mouse, or a keyboard by itself. This is the traditional way that manufacturers produce products, and typically is the norm of what is sent to reviewers. However, today is something special. Gamdias has sent us a gaming combo of gear, where we not only receive a keyboard and mouse, but Gamdias also throws in a mouse pad, so that you can have everything aside from the game to get going. We have seen other combos, and to be honest, we have never seen a combo on this scale, nor have we seen one packed with so much value to the purchase. Gamdias has sent along the Hermes E1 Gaming Combo so we can deliver our opinion on it. That being said, in this kit, we are delivered the Hermes E1 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, in the same box as the Demeter E2 Optical Gaming Mouse, as well as including a free mouse mat which is called the NYX E1. While at the same era of many companies moving into attempting to perfect the ideal gaming combo for the masses, we find one of two things. If it is affordable, the keyboard is usually a membrane switch keyboard, and the mouse is something we would rather not use long-term, or on the flip side, the combos are expensive so that they can include mechanical switch keyboards and a mouse with enough features to keep us interested. With what Gamdias has brought forward here, you get the best of both worlds. While hard to believe at face value, we urge you to continue and see for yourself what the Gamdias Hermes E1 Gaming Combo has in store.

iPhone X review: Apple's new flagship is top notch

One could easily describe the design of Apple's iPhone as iconic. If you asked someone to draw you an iPhone, even a child, they would draw a rectangle with rounded corners, with a rectangle on it for the screen, and a small circle underneath the screen for the Home button.

But this year, Apple is resolving to change all of that, as the iPhone X features a radical redesign. The Home button is gone in favor of stretching the screen across the device, and the aspect ratio has changed.

This also means that the entire user experience has changed, as the Home button has been replaced by swipe gestures and facial recognition. But Touch ID was so good; can Face ID really measure up? Can users really be trained to use their iPhones in an entirely new way when they've been using it one way for ten years?

Jabra Elite Sport Wireless Ear Buds Review

Ever since Apple announced that the iPhone 7 would no longer feature a 3.5mm audio jack and instead would launch wireless earbuds called AirPods, the wireless headphone and earbud market had a massive leap in sales*, resulting in Apple taking a large slice of the pie. Similar announcements by a number of other leading phone brands have only increased the demand for wireless audio, so it is of no surprise that we are now seeing a flood of hundreds, if not thousands of wireless headphones enter the market. If you were an audio brand, what would be a good way of distinguishing your products from everything else out there? One innovating way would be to integrate fitness monitoring, which is exactly what Jabra have done with their latest earbuds dubbed Jabra Elite Sport.

Jabra, previously known for their hand’s free devices and office audio equipment, took a jump into the consumer audio arena several years back, having produced both traditional ear buds and headphones, alongside Bluetooth speakers (one of which I still use to this day). The decision to launch Bluetooth earbuds was no doubt bolstered by the trend in ditching the audio jack and the improvement in Bluetooth audio quality. By combining with a heart-rate monitor, Jabra has produced quite a unique audio product that is not only wireless but also durable (i.e. sweat proof) making it perfect for those sporty types.

MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Titanium 8G Graphics Card Review

The new GeForce GTX 1070 Ti graphics cards are here and today we are going to look at and review the MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Titanium 8G graphics card. You know, “Ti” on the GeForce graphics cards stands for Titanium, right? So you literally get twice the Titanium with this MSI graphics card! Jokes aside, the MSI GTX 1070 Ti Titanium is just one of the GTX 1070 Ti that the company recently released. MSI also released the GTX 1070 Ti GAMING, DUKE, Armor and Aero. The GTX 1070 Ti Titanium sits on top or side by side with the GAMING variant. They basically have the same cooler design, except for the color scheme and no RGB on the Titanium, and the same clock speeds out of the box. In fact, all GTX 1070 Ti cards on the market, regardless of brand or model, have the same clock speeds. NVIDIA restricted or prevented AIB partners from selling factory overclocked GeForce GTX 1070 Ti cards. But this doesn’t mean you can’t overclock the GTX 1070 Ti; you can and we have overclocked this GTX 1070 Ti Titanium. It is easy to overclock the GTX 1070 Ti and the results that we got are very familiar (ahem GTX 1080). Interested in getting a new GTX 1070 Ti, or you just want to know how fast this graphics card is; please continue reading our MSI GTX 1070 Ti Titanium review below.

MSIs Z370 Gaming Pro Carbon AC motherboard reviewed

New Intel CPUs usually mean new motherboards, and MSI is diving into Coffee Lake with confidence. The company has at least a baker's dozen of Z370 boards ready to go for prospective Coffee Lake builders, and the Z370 Gaming Pro Carbon AC is the last stop so far before one ascends to the Z370 Godlike Gaming in the lineup.

MSI is using the transition to Z370 as an opportunity to freshen its mainstream boards' styling cues. The Pro Carbon still takes after automotive themes, but I daresay it's grown up a bit since our experience with its Z270 cousin. No, we're not looking at real carbon fiber on this board's I/O shroud, but the subtle patterning on these accents is pleasant-looking enough.

I wish the company had lacquered over these accents for additional flair as it does on its higher-end Pro Carbon boards, but that's an entirely personal preference. Even without that gloss, the MSI and Pro Carbon logos screened onto the board's chipset heatsink and I/O shroud seem like they were applied at Maaco instead of in a pro's paint shop. Maybe this is a sample defect, since other Pro Carbons I've seen in the wild have cleaner, more vivid white logos.

noblechairs ICON Top Grain Leather Gaming Chair Review

Take a stroll around your nearest German car dealership and you will notice that higher-end models on the showroom floor tend to have exquisitely upholstered leather lashed all over the cabin.

Such fine grain leather has a supple feel and a distinct smell. Needless to say, these models often command a premium price, after all, you do get what you pay for.

Noctua NH-L9a-AM4 Compact CPU Cooler Review

Today we will present second from the recently released Noctua compact CPU coolers – NHL9a-AM4. Since it’s designed for AMD Ryzen then we will test it with the 1700X processor. I guess it will be good test for this small cooler.

Lower AMD processors come with CPU cooler in the box but those who decide on higher series or simply with something smaller then have to look for other cooling solutions. Here comes Noctua with probably the smallest cooler designed for AM4 socket.

Stay with us to find out how much has to offer the NH-L9a-AM4 cooler.

Rosewill Cullinan MX Mid-Tower Chassis Review

We all know that Rosewill tends to take products already on the market and readdress some of the features to deliver their take on what that product should be. Sometimes they do this very well, and there has been a time or two where their ideas have not panned out so well. On the whole, Rosewill has a fairly decent track record with this type of production, however. There have been many instances in the last few years, where Rosewill has either delivers something better than the original, and if not better, these products tend to be sold at a greater value than others on the market. In the end, most of the time, what Rosewill is doing tends to be a win for the masses of buyers out there, who are either looking for something a bit better or those who do not have pockets deep enough to buy these products from the original maker. If you remember back to about this time last year, we ran across a chassis called the Anidees Crystal, which we believe to be the first of its kind. Even if they were not the originator of this assembly of parts and components, they were the first to send us one to bring this design to our attention. At that time, we found this chassis to be a top of the line submission and awarded it highly, but since then, we have seen this chassis in some form or another, too many times to count now. Whether it was AeroCool that followed them, or Raidmax, or even other Rosewill cases, one thing is for sure, the basic form of this chassis has become very popular among many manufacturers. What then is left for Rosewill to do after the Rosewill Meteor XR was not such a huge hit with us? Well, you can follow the originator to a further extent as not to cut off the airflow, yet at the same time, deliver a chassis which is more impressive than the original form of the chassis we loved so much.

Supermicro SuperO C7Z370-CG-L Motherboard Review

Last week a package arrived from Supermicro, and to my surprise, I found Supermicro's brand new C7Z370-CG-L inside. The C7Z370-CG-L has slight upgrades and major aesthetic changes compared to the C7Z270-CG, many of them good changes. For starters, Supermicro has realized that a lot of people are asking for all black motherboards so that the board can fade into the background. The motherboard is actually under Supermicro's SuperO brand, which handles their gaming segment. While SuperO doesn't produce too many motherboards, they have been making their way into the consumer gaming market for a little while now, and every generation things tend to get better. I have been on the ride with them since their Z97 days, and now, many generations later, we get more motherboards that look and feel like gaming products. Let's see what they have to offer.

Surface Laptop review: It's a lot better than I expected

Earlier this year, Microsoft announced a new SKU of Windows 10 called Windows 10 S. Aimed at the educational market (at the time), it's just like Windows 10 Pro except users of the OS can only install apps that come from the Microsoft Store.

A range of laptops and convertibles were also announced running the new SKU, but only one was aimed at consumers: the Surface Laptop.

Historically, the Surface brand has served as a sort of reference design for the rest of the PC industry, defining new form factors for OEMs to emulate. That's not really the case though with the Laptop, as this device is a traditional clamshell, and it's the first time that Microsoft has made such a machine.
