Techseekers.net has reviewed the MagicStar USB Flash disk and MP3 Player.
As a USB flash disk (PenDrive) with MP3 playback it offers excellent value for money. Performance is as good as any other USB flash disk, and 128MB (approx 90 floppy disks) provides ample storage for all but the biggest of files. There is a 256MB and a 64MB version also available. As an MP3 player it is also quite good and offers basic control over the tracks. As a Music player, it has a couple of failings; one of the most prevalent is the lack of WMA support, and to a lesser extent a status screen. An annoying problem for me was the lack of fast-forward function, and I actually did not miss the screen, the status LEDs provided all the indication that I needed. Playing time is also quite impressive, but of course this depends on the type of headphones you use. With the included headphones playing time approached 20hrs in one go.
