Irish cellular phone provider Meteor has abolished roaming charges for calls and texts while anywhere within the EU, along with other destinations, including Norway and Iceland.

Meteor removes European roaming charges
Meteor customers will no longer be charged to receive calls while travelling within 39 locations in Europe.
Prepay customers will pay 29 cents per minute to make a call and 12 cents to send a text, with a 9 cents call set up fee.
