MSI GeForce GTX 650Ti Power Edition OC Video Card Review

Posted by Philipp Esselbach on: 10/12/2012 06:34 AM [ Print | 0 comment(s) ]

Hi Tech Legion posted a review on the MSI GeForce GTX 650Ti Power Edition OC Video Card

NVIDIA has taken the GK106 and decreased the CUDA core count down to 768 units and working with a narrower 128-bit memory bus, produced the GTX 650Ti to fill the segment gap between the GK107 GTX 650 and the full GK106 implementation GTX 660. This opens up more options for gamers looking to buy the latest 600-series Kepler card but do not have the budget to drop on extremely powerful GK104 models. Similar to previous 600-series video card releases, NVIDIA’s manufacturing partners are releasing multiple variants that go beyond the reference design. One of these is MSI with their Power Edition variant.

The MSI GTX 650Ti Power Edition video card is designed for overclockers. MSI’s GTX 650Ti Power Edition features and advanced PWM design and has triple voltage adjustment capability for the GPU, Memory and PLL. For a quieter performance and cooler temperatures, MSI has outfitted the GTX 650Ti with their Cyclone II Thermal design, comprising of a nickel plated copper base and a 90mm PWM fan that operates silently even under full load. As with MSI’s other Power Edition video cards, the GTX 650Ti Power Edition video card is stamped with MSI’s Military Class III badge and has passed rigorous MIL-STD-810G standards ensuring top quality components and stability under extreme conditions. The MSI GTX 650Ti Power Edition card comes with a standard 3-year limited warranty for total peace of mind.
