Amped Wireless Titan AC1900 Wireless Router Review

The Titan lives just under the flagship Athena R2 in the Amped Wireless portfolio. This solution offers 600Mbps on the 2.4GHz band and 1300 Mbps on the 5GHz band making it an AC1900 class platform. Features include a 14-amplifier design providing 800mW of power through four high gain antennas while smart security features offer controls allowing you to set days and times networks are available or the ability to block specific devices from the network. Adding to this Amped has included beamforming technology and bandwidth optimization controls for a smooth user experience.

DeepCool MF120 Frameless RGB Fan Review

In this quick test, we briefly peek at the new MF120 Frameless WIFI RGB series fans from DeepCool, the fans are not just unique looking with an aluminum base finish, the RGB LED strip can be controlled over WIFI with your smartphone as well. Over at Computex 2017, DeepCool was showing a lot of stuff, including this fairly intricate fan set, nothing like you’ve seen before. They are introducing a frameless fan with two linear RGB strips that are controlled with a module which you can operate over WIFI with your smartphone. I just received a set to be used for a chassis build, and quickly wanted to show the kit to you.

So this is not a review, but rather a quick overview to get you an idea what these fans look like when fired up. Now the cool factor for me was of course that Deepcool plated the fans with a nice Guru3D Logo, bringing in some TLC, however, the fans are pretty special in the sense that you probably have never seen something like this. The MF120 kit includes three fans with vibration damping capabilities, but also get a front side aluminum alloy base. Everything and anything has built-in RGB lighting these days so does this kit. The fans are based upon a Double-layer blade design that should generate proper air pressure. Fan speed can be varied by PWM over the range 500-2200 RPM. These are Fluid Dynamic Bearing fans.

Enermax T.B. RGB, RGB Lighting 3 Fan Pack Review

Anyone who followed the evolution of Enermax fans knows all about the Twister fans as well as the T.B. Vegas offerings. They have been a mainstay for Enermax, and along the lines have not only come up with fancy lighting back before RGB hit like a storm, and were innovative products as well. In fact, Enermax was one of the first manufacturers to offer fans with removable blades, which put them leaps and bounds above most others, especially when it came to cleaning and dust removal.

Enermax: Ostrog Lite Review

There has been a significant push on the budget cases this year. Multiple manufacturers are designing and releasing budget cases that look good and perform well in comparison to mid to high-end cases. Some of the cases we have seen so far that turn heads are NZXT S340, Corsair 270R and Cooler Master MasterBox Lite 3.1.

ESP8266 Module Review with ESP8266 Tutorial

Today, we would like to focus on an IT branch that is currently enjoying great popularity and is forecast to continue to grow strongly in the coming years. We are talking about Smart Energy. In particular, we would like to take a closer look at an IoT module that allows us to control domestic devices via smartphone. The NodeMCU ESP8266MOD module contains WLAN functionality, various inputs and outputs, a relatively powerful CPU and enough memory for programs. In this WLAN ESP8266 test with ESP8266 tutorial on OCinside.de we will program the mentioned functions ourselves and also deal with some enhancements, such as ultrasonic sensor, PIR sensor, infrared receiver, relay card, GPS module and 320x240 display.

Patriot Burst 240GB 2.5″ SATA III SSD Review

Patriot Memory is not the largest but is clearly interesting brand on the gaming products market. Patriot delivers various, well priced products which fit gamers needs and that’s the most important. In this review we will present one of the storage products – SSD from the Burst family. Tested drive has 240GB capacity what is just right for most gaming computers but it’s also available in higher capacity if anyone needs more space.

After short introduction we will take a look at the specifications of the Burst SSD.

Phanteks Eclipse P400S Review

The built-in 3-speed fan controller is another nice feature, along with the sound deadening material on the inside of the case panels. That material is the reason for the "S" in the P400S model number. There is room at the top for two extra fans and I like the way you can leave the top open, use the magnetic filter panels, or completely cover the top with the included covers.

Samsung launches the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+

Incremental updates major on new camera features but there are other niceties delivered. Samsung launched the new flagship Galaxy S smartphones on the eve of MWC 2018. There were few surprises embodied in the new Galaxy S9 and S9+. What was shown on stage, and in the plethora of feature videos, was very much an incremental update on last year's S8 and S8+ models. Samsung's own intergenerational comparison page makes this clear. The greatest design effort seems to have been put into the cameras on the new models, as paid testament by the Nine of the Galaxy S9’s Most Exciting Features blog by Samsung (3 or 4 of which are imaging features).

The State of 5G: When It's Coming, How Fast It Will Be & The Sci-Fi Future It Will Enable

Although 5G may seem like just another wireless generational upgrade, touting more speed and less latency, the years-long migration will require an expansion of cellular networks worldwide to include millions of new antennas that will become the backbone of IoT and its billions of sensor-laden devices, from smart dust to smart cars.
