Bigbruin.com posted a review on the Seagate 750GB Momentus XT Hybrid Drive
Seagate is constantly looking for ways to improve their storage solutions, with a keen focus on higher capacities and increased transfer speeds. While solid state drives are the king for speed, if you need a large amount of storage, they are very expensive. An example of this would be that it would presently cost you about $900 for a 600GB SSD. Seagate has a solution to this issue... a hybrid drive integrating SSD technology with a traditional hard drive. Seagate states that this integration, along with their Adaptive Memory technology, provides the speed of an SSD with the capacity of a typical hard drive.
