One gem I happened to come across on the Internet is the Voq Professional Smartphone from Sierra Wireless. At its prime (late 2004), the Voq smartphone had a cost about the same as any other Windows powered smartphone (~$500). However, it never got picked up by a service carrier and eventually was discontinued by Sierra Wireless. Though there are a lot of cons about being discontinued (such as extremely limited support and availability), one good piece of news is that the Voq smartphone is available for less than $150 from the few stores that still carry it. This heavy discount makes Voq one of the best values for a smartphone, especially without service plan. While the price may be right, just what does Sierra Wireless' Voq Smartphone offer?
