Sprint has a nice EV-DO modem called the Novatel Wireless Ovation U720 that runs from the USB port of your computer. Speeds in EV-DO Rev A areas are fantastic, but if you are in areas not served by Rev A speeds, the connection is very slow. Setting the Sprint Novatel Wireless Ovation U720 up requires the installation of the mobile broadband software and two vacant USB ports.
