If you’ve paid any attention to the video card market for the past year, you’ve seen an ongoing battle between ATI and NVIDIA (and, by extension, their fans), over whose video cards and drivers are fair, and whose are not. The flurry of allegations between NVIDIA and FutureMark turned out to be the beginning of a massive investigation into driver design, filtering methods, NV3x architecture, and DX9 performance. ATI profited enormously from the situation, and many held up the Canadian company as an example of how a graphics firm should be run.
