Microsoft has confirmed that the latest software update for the Surface RT tablet, released today, fixes some more WiFi issues along with some other bugs in the three month old hardware product

Microsoft has also made a new software update available specifically for its Surface tablet running on Windows RT. In a post on the Microsoft Community forum, an official moderator stated that this update will "address several 'Limited' Wi-Fi connections issues." Microsoft has been working to improve the WiFi features on the Surface RT tablet in previous software updates.

In addition, Microsoft said the Surface RT software update will have "driver updates improving performance with Windows, Volume and Power buttons." Specifics about the driver improvements were not revealed. The tablet will download the update automatically or owners can force the update to download.
