I didn't read the whole forum yet, so excuse me if the question has already been answered. . . I still play some old DOS games in a DOS window such as Prince of Persia or Gender War. These games work fine with Win98.

This started a couple of days ago, for no apparent reason: no new programs, change in IIS settings, administrators, etc, and no otherwise-noticed viruses or other attacks. I tried working with the IIS snap-in, first trying to stop-then-restart IIS.

What should I do about "Generic Process for Win32 Services"?

Can somebody throw some light on Generic Process for Win32 Services, which pops up as a permittable process with Internet access in software firewalls. I'm currently contemplating switching from Norton Internet Security to Zone Alarm and I had desperate problems with that process in the Norton product.

My pc reboots at random times of the day/usage. I suspect that my processor temp is rising beyond the bios max temp setting. However, I am recieving nothing in the event logs (not even previous shutodwn unexpected).

Problems with Start menu in Home XP

Regards from Spain. A few days ago, my XP stopped loading the Start menu (wii load up to the background image) and gave me an error message: explorer. exe cannot load due to corrupt browseui. dll. I then downloaded a browseui.

i had a problem with windows 2000 and had to do a clean reinstall so i pretty much lost all my old settings and anything else that was in the registry. i have a backup file of everything, but i dont want to use it because it'll restore the messed up settings.

Autocomplete, where is the info stored?

Anyone offhand know where the autocomplete info for passwords and such is stored for IE6? (the same stuff in the content tab in the internet options) In the past I checked the box to not remember passwords for a few particular sites, and now I would like to enable those without purging all my existing ones.

Ok ive seen the one on prince of persia 2 but i have the same problem and i tryed all the things from the prince of persia 2 trhead. This is what happens, i start up the game but b4 anything comes up it says the game ended unexpectdly.

Hi members, I got stuck with an audio problem. When ever i click any audio link or play any audio file ,my computer crashes down and it automatically restarts. My OS is windows XP professional. I would be thankful if any one has a solution for it.
