ok heres my progblem i have an SATA 80GB hard drive intel 915 gux motherboard pentium 4 3. 4 ghz processor. now just a little while ago i noticed that in intel desktop utilities it said my hard drive had a max transfer rate of UDMA 5 (ATA/100)but since mines is SATA it should be 150 right? so then i get a diskette ...

Web server on Xp

Is it possible to run a web server from Xp and use it for your website. is it possible to use a registered domain name like humpty. com and run it from xp and store all my html files on my pc. Im currently using dreamweaver 5 MX any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Linux rocks. However the Linux kernel suffers from a number of design issues that have and will continue to plague it. Namely the fact that the LK team has never gone out of their way to create a stable Driver ABI with which binary drivers can be developed against.

USB Zip drive makes Win XP unable to boot

Hi All, Thanks for your previous replays. I have a new issue to comment you guys. I have an external ZIP drive (Iomega 100) connected to one of the USB 2 ports of my PC. When restarting the PC with the ZIP drive connected to it the system never boots! (black screen before the win XP screen).

Installing XP from W98

I have a motherboard Intel d850gb - gb85010a, a P4 at 1. 7GHz and a 80GB IDE hard drive. This machine had Windows 98SE installed and I wanted to upgrade to XP (Pro). I am constantly getting an error message saying “disk error” when windows tries to recognize the hard drive.

Shadow Warior Sound issues

Ok, I am having a problem with Shadow Warriors Sound on Windows Xp Service Pack 2. I can load the game, but the sound is too choppy in the game and in the setup program. Anyone have any Ideas of how i can get the sound to return to normal? Any help anyone can give me would e much appreciated.

We are trying to connect with a Nortel Contivity client through a Linksys router, and are unable to do so? Are there any known issues with Lynksys in regards to VPN? We've pinned it down that it is probably the hardware since we can connect at other locations that have the same ISP.

Hello, I ve just installed a new windows XP PRO version. . . Everything is working, but i can't install pdf printers. . . I tried to install fineprint (during ,addprinterdrivers failed), i ve the same problem with acrobat 7.

i have Win xp. my display driver (SiS 6326) shows me an error in hardware manager(yellow exlamation mark in front of it). i need 2 update this driver. display proerties dos not show me any options (such as APPEARANCE, SETTINGS, etc) but dunno where to find it on the net.

Slow to open folders on my desktop

Hello, I have Windows XP home edition and as of this morning everytime I try to open up a folder on my desktop or Internet Explorer it takes like four minutes to open. Once the folder is open, everything is ok and I can move about pretty quickly.
