Greetings all don't know how many (if any of you) this will help but it seems that this tape drive aiwa td 8000 reports itself as a TD8000 to win2k through plug & play thus making it unusable as win2k is looking for it as a ATD8000 ! simple fix though just remove the A in \winnt\inf\tape.

Game reporting wrong drive space.

I recently installed Beetle Crazy Cup in Win2K Pro 2195. I played the game four times with no problems. Now it won't play. I get an error that says I have -1725megs disk space(yes negative 1725megs) and the game needs 25megs of drive space to run.

I am using Palm Desktop 3. 0. 3 in win2k final. It work fine except for the most part. However, when viewing the address list I used to be able to (in win 98) select a group of name and drag them on to an Excel or Word icon and they would be imported.

A3D sound on Sblive...

I put in the dell liveware and have not a problem, I also put in the Sblive A3d software drivers from aureal for sheets and giggles. Are'nt these drivers for win98?? Oh well, In quakeIII I selected A3d and lo and behold it actualy seemed to make A3d sound, don't know what it should sound like but it was 3d sound.

I just installed Windows 2000 on a new computer. Formatted the Maxtor 20 gig fat 32 and the install went smooth. I dont understand why I dont have any help files. Clicking on Start Help does nothing.

Hi. I have gotten this error a few times before, this tiem, installing a q3a screensaver. . 16 Bit Windows Subsytem SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\VirtualDeviceDrivers. VDD. Virtual Device Driver format in the registry is invalid.

MS Proxy 2.0 & Win2000 Server (help please :)

I installed win2000 and i got the update for ms proxy 2. 0 ( run update then it installs proxy) and it installs fine, but when i reboot all of the proxy services are stopped, and if i goto start them i have to shutdown the www services.

Quake 2 in Win2k!!! :(

I finally got everything set up perfectly in win2k, but i noticed some bugs in quake 2. Whenever i changed the brightness settings, they wouldn't change. Whenever i start or join a network or internet game, the game crashes and kicks me back out to the desktop.

FIC PA-2013 rev 2.0 Any problems with Windows 2000?

Reason I ask is that on the startup page on this site they listed as having install problems with the Va-503+ which is the AT version of the PA-2013 which i have. Both have the MPV3 chipset. Anyone having any problems with an FIC PA-2013 rev 2.

I still use beta 3. I downloaded the update from the HP-site but was not able to use it. . . entry point UpdateDriverForPlugAndPlayDevicesA could not be located in. . . newdev. dll So no support for USB (says HP) and no success with parallel port.
