HELP! Cannot add partition to my secondary drive

Hello ppl. I need to install linux for a homework in university. To do so i got an old hard disk from a friend and tried to install linux redhat 7. 1. The drive had one Win98 partition. The installer said that i had to manually fix the partition cause it cannot do that automatically.

RAM problems with XP SP2

I have windows xp pro service pack 2 and i have 768 MB of DDR ram installed on a new motherboard. When a window is open the machine is fast, at least as fast as it should be with that much ram, but when i try to move a window or scroll down a web page it is incredibly slow.

Dual Core and Affinity

Just recently got a dual-core rig, Pentium D 830. Was wondering if anyone had played around with affinity for programs that utilize MP. For instance while I use Premiere Pro 1. 5, should I set my affinity to only one processor for explorer.

FF7 graphics problem

I've just installed FF7 onto my laptop, and basically there's nothing wrong with it except for one thing. When I'm in the field screen, so when you're just walking around, there's this sort of grid over the screen, it's like I'm looking at the screen through some sort of chicken wire.

Hi, i have recently got my 5. 1 surround system working again. I had it workin 5 months ago. when i have come to get it working again the computer wont load up. It will only load up when the sound card is disabled I have had it working before.

Partition Magic 7.0 Problem

Hello there, So basicly the problem is, i have a wester Digital Ata Hard disk , 200 G. the Partition magic sees only 130 G. My friend did something long time ago, and he figured how to show all 200 Giga.

Please, please can someone help me make my son happy again? We have just replaced dungeon keeper 2. It worked fine to start with, but i installed the patch version 1. 7 as there were a few screen freezes.

CPU usage 100% after 20~30mins of gaming

I've encountered a big problem which my CPU usage will go to 80~100 percent. . . It will make me lag when im playing Warcraft 3 and Counter Strike Online. . . . Here's the big problem 1. While i watching my anime.

I have a Linksys WVC54G camera. I have it set up and working on my LAN, but cannot get it to send out emails to my AOL account, also, I cannot see the camera from the interenet as I must not have set the port forwarding correctly.

Hello! I'm looking for a truly recovering deleted partitions and/or files program. You can find by the net EASY RECOVER PRO, WINTERNALS DISK COMMANDER and other similar recovering programs. But I checked these programs cannot truly recover deleted partitions and files.
