Hey, I'm trying to install the Tie Fighter Collector edition on my Windows 2000 system. It keeps asking me to install direct X 5. I've downloaded the patch to fix this, but you need Windows Applications Compatibility Toolkit 3.

hello. i just installed age of empires 3. when i started the game, the main menu was all distorted. i tested my direct3d and direct3d 7 interfaces worked fine but 8 and 9 were distorted as well. my directx version is the newest.

I have searched for quite awhile on google and ntcomp for a solution to my problem. When I attempt to install FF7 on my computer (I run WinXP) it exits out of the setup. I know that alot of other people had this problem, and I tried setting the compatibility to Win95 on both install.

I have a 200GB Maxtor OneTouch II (USB 2. 0 I think) external hard drive, and have lost the installation CD. I want to plug it in to my spangly new laptop, but can't without the CD apparently. Hey guys. I just installed the Gigabyte Nvidia GeForce 6600GT 128mb AGP yesterday so I could play Call of Duty 2 with better FPS. After upgrading it from my old FX5500 from MSI, It wouldn't boot up and couldn't detect the video card.

I recently tryed to play my Sims2 game and my computer told me: Failed to find any DirectX 9. 0c comatible graphics adapters in this system! Please make sure you have a DirectX 9. 0c compatible graphics adapter and have installed the latest drivers provided by the manufacturer.
