Windows XP booting loop

HELP! I was online paying some bills and a storm hit. Usually I shut off immediately but this time the electric went on the first clap of thunder. I went to boot up later and now the computer goes through the checks, recognizes everything and goes to the option of booting in safe mode.

I had a previous problem with command and conquer compatibility that I solved by getting a patch that I found out about on here, and it worked and let me play, but it makes it so you can't play over a lan.

Hey! I want to play Ultima Ascension online, but it's only compatible with windows 95/98 - It won't work with NT or XP or anything. Is there something I can download to fix this?.

Open windows explorer, open the activision folder on your C: drive. Open the mercenaries folder and highlight everything. Now right click on the MERCS Blue window looking icon and (NOT THE HORNED SKULL) and check all options in the compatibility window and run for 98/ME.

My PC, using Windows XP Pro, doesn't have game port at all. I have very good USB gamepad Thrustmaster Dual Trigger but my Microsoft Hellbender doesn't recognize it. It only works with keyboard, but it's not so good.

I have been using COX Cable Internet for some months now, after being sick and tired of DSL. At first it was great! But now, for about a month, the connection has been getting slower and slower. And when I try to watch any streaming video (Opsgear has killer mil-sim paintball vids), it stops dead right in the middle.

There is this special enhanced version of simcity1 for dos that i have that has better graphics and multimedia videos etc and I can't get it to work on windows xp. Any help from someone who has this version of Simcity who got this to work would really be helpful.

1) I use a Compaq 7550 monitor, and the default screen resolution is 1024 x 768. However, I do have the option of increasing it to the maximum 1600 x 1200. If I do that, will I damage my monitor? 2) I use a VIA/S3G UniChrome IGP video card, and need to know where I should go to update my older drivers.
