Windows XP booting loop

HELP! I was online paying some bills and a storm hit. Usually I shut off immediately but this time the electric went on the first clap of thunder. I went to boot up later and now the computer goes through the checks, recognizes everything and goes to the option of booting in safe mode.

HELP! I was online paying some bills and a storm hit. Usually I shut off immediately but this time the electric went on the first clap of thunder. I went to boot up later and now the computer goes through the checks, recognizes everything and goes to the option of booting in safe mode...etc. I have tried all but when the windows symbol comes up and the little line starts moving left to right, a blue screen flashes (I don't know what it says as it's too fast and I can't freeze it...how can I do that so I can read it?) Anyway, I've tried recovery and everything to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions???? ;(

oh no!!! blue screen of death! sounds like a corrupted file to me. I had the same problem except I couldn't boot in safe mode either. First you should check all the errors in the event viewer to see if you can find the file in question.
