Allow regular user to unlock locked computer

Is there a group policy or Windows Security setting that would allow some of my users (i. e. non administators) to unlock a workstation? So far all I can find is a third party application ( ) This program seems to do the trick but I obviously would prefer to do this through GP.

Deeper Dungeons won't work on xp

I have Dungeon Keeper gold, and Dungeon Keeper itself works just fine. However, Deeper Dungeons won't work. When I try to run it, I can get as far as selecting the map to load, and the disk starts to spin, but then it crashes.

Okay, I am showing 3 of the USB Root Hubs and 3 of the Via Rev 5 or later USB Universal Host Controller. And they all say they are working properly. However, whenever I plug anything into the USB ports nothing is recognized.

WinXP Hangs when copying huge number of images

Anyone else here who has to manage really huge numbers of files in their system? Though this rarely happens to me, I'm experiencing this quirk while migrating my files to a newly installed hard disk.

Does anyone know if Norton Ghost and Ahead's Nero support dual-layer DVD-R discs, in read and write modes? The version of Ghost that I'm interested in, for this context, is Ghost 2003. Where Nero's concerned, I'm using Nero 6 OEM Suite 3, where the version of Nero 6 is the Express version.

I'm using Windows Firewall and IPSec filtering rules for bi-directional port blocking. Is this good use of free tools that come with XP for creating a bi-directional firewall, or is it nonsense? If you think it's nonsense, please explain.

Mechwarrior 2 Mercenaries lock up starting mission

When I try to launch the second mission of the Free Rasalhague Republic Garrison Campaign, the screen will stay black but the music will play. Nothing else will happen. I was wondering if anyone else has the same thing and if there are any solutions other than starting a new game and skipping that contract.

C&C problem

i recently bought C&C first decade. it installed fine with no problems. however when i go to play C&C or C&C red alert on the disc it goes blank and my screen flashes saying out of frequency. the game however is playing in the back.

DirectX/DirectInput mouse sensitivity adjustment?

I need a way to alter the sensitivity of my mouse. By mouse I mean the X-Arcade Trackball, which is functioning as a mouse. The thing is, setting the sensitivity in the mouse control panel doesn't adjust swing sensitivity in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005/2005.
