Search Function Not Working

When I go to start-search and enter file or folder I wish to find the program starts but it never shuts down. Further is I stop the seatch the PC locks up and I have to shut down and reboot , I ujse Win XP Home w/SP3 and IE 8.

Primary Slave (HDD) not found

The HDD of my old PC P4 1. 8mhz was damaged and it was replaced with a new one formatted with XP-SP2 V3 as OS system. I also installed a Primary Slave Drive (HDD) but it was not been able to perform neither can be seen on My Computer.

I'm on windows Xp home and I have tried everything that was suggested in this topic Changing capability mode doesn't do anything at all, I did the regedit change on the save game folder, still doesn't load.

Unable to disable network adapters [XP]

Hey This is a wierd problem I have encountered just now after I stopped using windows 7 RC and changed back to windows xp (dual-boot). In Network Connections I am unable to disable any of the adapters by choosing the 'disable' function.

Hi I have a problem with the login screen of my xp machine. Here is the scenario: I lock my machine using win+L or switch user then sometimes it wont log me in, even if I enter the correct passowrd it will say wrong password.

Hi! I have a biostar n750a with a 955 be am3 running xp home sp3 and the proper cpu driver installed per amd website. Power now and smart fan turned on in bios but don't work! It did work but I turned it off to do some benchmarking and it has not worked sense any help would be good.

Twisted Metal 2 PC

So the installer for this game wont run on XP. I created a Win98 virtual machine, installed it on that, then copied the files to my host XP machine and the game runs smoothly - even Direct3D accelerated at 800x600.
