100Mbps and max bandwith

I wanna run a LAN with 2 or more computer and wanna know what is the best bandwith I can reach between 2 computers ? I mean, can I ever dream have more than 80% of the 100 Mbps written on my card. Error message after tweaking my system (Win2k Pro)

I read about some tweaks at I set the services Server, Computer Browser and Messenger to manual. All other services that are mentioned were already set to manual by default. Since I did this, I get an error in my Windows 2000 error logbook, which I'm 100% sure was not there before.

Hi. I'm a nwebie and need some help. I had Win2K crash on my compuer and I had to power off and back on. Ever since hen during startup it wants to do an automatic scan disk for errors and I have to press a key to cancel otherwise it takes for ever.

I set my computer up to dual boot into 98 and 2000. I have removed 2000, but I can't get rid of the boot manager. Is there a way to do this without formatting everything?.

Hi. I just installed dEtonator v5. 13 and at first it seemed to be working fine. Win2K ran without any problem. Then I started browsing some web sites, and suddenly I got an error. I guess it was a Win2K version of blue screen of death.

I am having a problem playing Halflife in windows 2000 pro. I installed the game and also the latest patch, when i play in direct3d the game plays (very fast time wise by the way) but the console ~ is not available and if I hit esc I get no menu but a black screen.

I installed the new version 5. 13 or whatever detonater drivers from 3dchipset. com and everything was great. I went from the 3. 78 to the new ones and i had d3d before on the 3. 78 but i did'nt notice till a short while ago that i had no d3d with the new ones.
Winamp takes a long time to change audio tracks

Hello, (I've used the search ) I have a weird Winamp problem. Whenever I change a cd-audio track in Win2k it takes ages for winamp to switch tracks. It's almost like inserting a new CD. I'm running Win2k final release, CEL400@450, 128mb, and Pioneer DR-A015.

I finally found a working driver for this modem, and its only 18k in size! Go to: Download the Lucent win2k driver (ZUSB2000. exe), extract to any dir, plug in the modem and point to wizard to the dir with the zoom.

plz help with this one: OK, after installing latest patch 3. 01 from adaptec and rebooted, win2k soon after loaded directcd. exe process they reboot. BUT if i quickly manage to end that process from task manger and the run DirectCd.

has released the latest vortex/vortex2 drivers for win2000 on their page. Here is a direct link to the drivers for those of you who are lazy: Unfortunately, these are very basic and very beta drivers with no 4 spk support and no a3d support.

hey all again win2k gigabyte ga-5ax motherboard (ali chipset) i am really getting annoyed basically. I installed aspi32. exe then adaptec 4 and i still get bsods bsod: Driver_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL i dont know what to do and its really getting on my nerves.

I have this little problem with Power Management. My motherboard uses VIA MVP3 chipset, and Win2k says it's unsupported. I have a EPOX EP-MVP3E motherboard. Does anyone know if there is a driver or fix for this problem.

How do I enable the FSAA function in Windows 2000 for my Geforce DDR? In Windows 98, the key is located at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Class\Display\000x\NVIDIA\OpenGL\ EnableFSAA=1 I can't find this key in Windows 2000.
