I recently installed Toca2 on my win2k box. I have an ATI Rage 128. When I start Toca2 up it does not run fully. First there was a problem with the menu reverting back to the setup menu, but this was fixed by editing the registry.

I have an OEM Adaptec AIC-7855 SCSI card (AHA-2930) in a DFI K6BV3+2 MB / AMD K6-2-400 / 384MB RAM and the card is on an IRQ all by itself. I have a Plextor CDR, a Seagate Hawk 4. 3GB, a 1GB Jaz and a Panasonic CR-508 CDROM on the card.

I have the Asus P2B-D Motherboard. I have to contact Asus to do a hardware rework. But I have no adresse or phone number from asus-france (I live in France). The Alternate solution involves removing ACPI drivers and installing APM drivers instead.

I have dsl connected to my linksys dsl router. well when i am in aim and i try to send talk or im immages or files to my friend it dosent work. it gives me something saying that we may be on different firewalls, but i dident put down a proxy server for a firewall.

I encrypted all my personal files on my computer. . . just cuz it made me feel all warm and snuggly. Well, I had to reinstall Windows 2000 yesterday, meaning I re-formatted. . . . the whole shabang. I didn't think to unencrypt, or save my key.

I wuz doing some benchmarkz on my computer with 3dmork 2000 and I noticed that when I accidentaly burshed my cumpter that my score went up!!!! I have dun this benchmark many many times and I have even used the Quaker thre benchmarkx.

I have NT 4. 0 Workstation setup on one of my computers. My problem is I am trying to run a Q3 server on it, when I try to connect to the server my other computer just sits there and tries to connect forever.

I know of the problems with installeing the Umax driver for NT in that it only works if you are logged in as administrator. But we had it working before the machine got trashed recently. Whats the solution?.

I have a Compaq Armda V300 upgraded to Windows 2000. It's quite all ok (a part it does not go in standby 'cause not supported by the keyboard!?). The main problem is that I could not find a mean to assign a com port to the infrared port and use a mobile phone to connect to internet.

Ok, I was under the impression that all the next operating systems from Microsoft (2k,Me,neptune) were all gonna be based on the NT kernal. Well, I just read a review on Windows Millenium and it said that it was still based on DOS.

Star Wars: Force commander in win2K

Anyone been able to run force commander under win2k. It works fine in win98 but when I try to start it up in win2K i just get a black window that takes consumes all of my cpu power, doing nothing. My system is a dual celeron 500, 256 mb ram, leadtek winfast tnt2 ultra.
