DSL from bellsouth and win2k

a question to all who may have experience with bellsouth dsl service,I would like to get it but am unsure if it will work in win2k i am completely win2k here dont want to downgrade to 98 for broadband, anyone know anything? thanks in advance JabbaTheWocket

My friend has moved the mydocuments folder into the recycle bin and deleted it off the desktop. Now everytime he drags it back to the desktop it only stays for a little while then just leaves. I don't get it he do'nt get it.

Windows2000 System Disk?

How do you make a windows 2000 system disk?! I want to flash my motherboard bios so in order to do that i need a system disk. Format a:/s dont work for some reason and a windows98 system disk wont load on win2k.

how to go back to auto-refreshing pages in ie5 without pressing the refresh button? Seems i tweaked something and i don't find anything in tools>options to bring it back. . . (something like open ie each time in a seperate process : where is it?) thanks and sorry for the not-so-win2k-related.

I had the unfortunate experience of my friend sending me a japscat video. He told me it was a funny video, and well it is, but still, has anyone ever seen a japscat video?!? They are crazy! Why would they do that!!!.

I dont understand why my numlock will be off when the win2k bootup since i already make it on at the bios!. . . anybody know where i can make it on when win2k boot up?.

Hard Drive Icons...

I enjoyed having different icons for each drive in explorer by creating an autorun. inf file on the drive root. This doesn't work in Win2k, so I tried a program called Iconphile. It screwed up my drive icons and now all I have is blank icons (white square with Windows logo).

Help-I gave up on Win2000-went back to Win98

I really like the stability of Win2000, how ever my OS will only stay up and running a few weeks and then it crashes. I have had NTOSKRNL. EXE corrupt, and win2000 protection errors, where the system hangs at boot and reboots over and over.

Need some help with AVG 6.0 free edition antivirus

Ok It is really fine on my system but i notice that when i first load up win2k my cpu usage is beyween 39% and 100% and I hear the hard drive running. I am assuming that it is scanning some file at startup so I disabled resident shield but then I lose email scanning.

I have a pc w/2000 and my sister has an imac with os 9 gettin os x. anways, how would i be able to see her in network neighborhood or map one of here drives??? we are both in the router table adn on the internet thru the router.

How do I create a public share on win2K?

I want to make a public share, I do not want to have to set up a user account on the Win2K for every one that will have access to it. This is a peer network, workgroup, running a mix of Win2K/NT4/95/98.

Asus K7M, W2K Pro, AGP Filter Driver?

Does anyone using AMD AGP Filter 5. 02 driver under Win2k? Curent Settings? Super Bybass=Enabled Sidebanding Enabled Aperture=256 MB AGP=2x Latest Drivers, Bios, Etc except for this I set up a system for a friend with a Matrox G400 and 256 MB Ram.

What a Load of Crap I just read on the motherpage, no more full windows disks are being shipped with New Computers. . . . . makes me want to vomit, now they ship you a recovery Disk or offer a Hard Drive Based recovery solution.
