Family Game Pack Royale

3DO makes a game called Family Game Pack Royale. It is designed for Win 95/98. I am sure that it would run under W2K. It is designed to spot the NTKERNEL file and not install. I have contacted 3DO and they do not seem interested in helping.

Creative Dxr3 Drivers

Sigma designs link for the drivers is down. I have been trying for 2 days. Anyone know where I can get the hollywook plus drivers for this card? Thanks Michael.

Lockups...

In Windows 2000, I get random lockups in Counter-Strike. This happens with any drivers as far back as 3. 66. I figured it was an AGP problem since I have an AMD chipset motherboard, but the games run flawlessly in Windows 98.

Installing 98SE over 2k

I don't know if people have gone through this in here already but. . . I have a system running Win 2k Pro. I'd like to add Win98SE to it, into the same partition as 2k (98 won't be used often). What would be the steps necessary to dual boot like this? Thank you, -Anton.

Sound Blaster Live 1024 Player

I'de been running with a bog standard SB16 for abotu two months with not a single problem. Why in hells name did i decide to upgrade(upgrade? HAH) to an SB Live then? Christ himself only knows. Is anyone able to tell me the best driver to be running with this card, not that there are that many to chose from.

Which one actually works under win2k? As i tried using nero with the updated dll. . and i keep getting runtime errors, when it is caching the files before burning to the cd. Any help appreciated.

Has anyone managed to run homeworld in OpenGL with the voodoo banshee? I'm using Anthony's hacked NT4 drivers (god I wish 3dfx would get off it's a** and release drivers) and can only use D3D and Software.

Also if I was to compress my ftp partition will new uploaded files be automatically compressed (if the feature is enabled for all files and sub directories) like they are if I paste them from Windows Explo ...

VIO voltage

I want to raise my VIO voltage from 3. 5 to 3. 8 to get (I hope) more stability on my AsusP5A (ALi V)/G400/SBLive combo. I have a K6-III 450 MHz and 128MB PC-100. Is it dangerous or is it doable? I don't want to blow my system up, even though I'm starting to hate it.

ok i get this high pitched scratchy sort of noise in ut all the time. it just started a while ago and i cant get it to go away. i didnt switch drivers or anything. . . i have been using the liveware! for win2k drivers, which suck but at least i had clear sound for a while.

IE History and Win2k

I have a clean install of Win2k on an ABIT BP6 Dual-Celeron system. All is working well, except I noticed that my IE History is not functioning! I've checked all my registry settings, attempted to reset some of them via TweakUI and X-Setup, to no avail.

SuperMicro Mobo Bios Updates available

Just checked on and saw that they just released v3. 0 bios versions for most of their motherboards (and upgrade for my dual P6DBS from v2. 2). Since the last rev was in September 1999, I am hoping (fingers crossed) that these are bios upgrades with Win2K in mind.
