CD Burning Software
This is a discussion about CD Burning Software in the Windows Software category; Which one actually works under win2k? As i tried using nero with the updated dll. . and i keep getting runtime errors, when it is caching the files before burning to the cd. Any help appreciated.

I have been using Adaptec 4.0 with no problems and like the program quite well. I have a Memorex 2642 IDE burner.

Adaptec 4.x, Nero 4.x and 5.0.0.3, CDRWin 3.8x, FireBurner 1.06 and probably some others I can't remember at the moment all work for me under W2K with my SCSI Yamaha 4416.
I'm using CdrWin 3.7 fine...tried WinOnCD 3.7 and Adaptec 4.02 worked okay as well

OP
i fiddled around with nero..and it works fine...apart from it now refuses to copy any files either on the fly or otherwise from my second cd-rom..it always says that access is denied when cacheing...but will do everything else with no probs? anyone have an idea why it is just doing this from CD's? is there something i am not doing right?
I used Adaptec's 3.5c with no problem until I...*procured* 4.01 with the 4.02 patch
Hi,
Using Adaptec Easy CD 4.02, all running very very well now.
Some early probs with Easy CD, but Adaptec seem to have gotten it sorted out now.
