Windows 2000, Sblive and Live Drive II

I was wondering, is there anyone out there with a sblive and a live drive II? Im not quite sure how the livedrive's work, or if they even need drivers or anything. Only question is does the second line in have another control in the volume control and other similar inputs that there are 2 of with the live drive.

Ahh yes, the wonderful service pack 1 has arrived. The cure all to any Win2k problem. Well just so happens that after I install it, my TCP/IP stack just goes to hell. I can sign on, but I can't do anything online.

WCPUid Result Questions

I was checking out something in WCPUid on my dad's and my computerand came across something. . . We both have Athlons-he 700, me 750. But his says Athlon (model 1) and mine says Athlon (model 2) What does this mean, if anything? We both have Slot A processors.

Any idea on an IE bug(?)

here is the situation: When i download something quickly (for me)(e. g. >5kb/s) and at the same time trying to open a page with many pictures almost half of the pictures don't open (an x insted). If i stop the download and i only refresh the page, the pictures open just fine.

I have the option of installing Windows²ººº Professional or Windows²ººº Server. . . The real question is, what increased functionality could I find in Server over Professional, or, Server over Professional.

Problems installing Display Drivers

Welp it all went to ****. . . right now I'm running the Default MS drivers for my Diamond Viper v550. When I try to install any new driver it goes through the process and at the end it says that there was an error installing the driver and that some file was not found.

Slow Network Neighborhood

Just a quick question. I have 4 Windows 2000 pc's on a network. One Server and the rest are Pro. When I click on Network Neighborhood it freezes for a second before it will bring up the other computers.

Burner and IDE probs.

In Windows 2000 I cannot burn any cds. Within 1-2 minutes I get a buffer under run and an instant coaster. I have used several pieces of burning software, same thing. Everything works fine in win98 though.

Networking Win2K with Win 98SE

I have at home two machines one that is dual boot Win2K Pro/Win98SE the other just runs Win 98SE. When they both running Windows 98 everything Works fine so I know the NICs and cable fine. When I running Win 2K on one and Win98SE on the other they dont see each other at all.
